  1. I remember fishing with my dad when i was 5 years old, back in 77'. I remember catching my first fish out on the delta using clams. I caught a decent size catfish. I've been fishing ever since.
  2. I like the metal. But out of the ones that you show, the black for me.
  3. There is a lot of bank fishing on the 160 south. We go there a lot there for stripers.
  4. Yes, many times. That's why I keep an old car stereo magnet around, to find those small parts.
  5. what reels are you using on these? nice setup btw.
  6. TT sells the Steez A spool. The 34mm G1 with the MagZ boost. That is what I put in my SV103HL because it holds more line. Works perfect.
  7. Do you have Japanese version or the US?
  8. Are you happy with your Zillions? I was looking into buying one. Been watching videos and reviews on them. But I also see a lot of used ones for sale and it makes me hesitant. How have they held up over the past year?
  9. Can the shaft be bent? IDK just throwing that out there.
  10. What heads are you using for the easy shiner?
  11. Another for spinnerbaits. Also, lipless cranks and chatterbaits.
  12. I've only tried Invizx.
  13. When I google Bard Lake, i found this. https://fishbrain.com/fishing-waters/eBSL5gnh/bard-lake
  14. Yes, this rod should do it for me. I don't plan on throwing big swimbaits. 3 or 4oz should be max for me.
  15. That's good to know. This is what I was looking for in a rod, that parabolic action. I'll also check out that other Okuma rod. Thanks
  16. I don't plan on throwing huge swimbaits. 3oz or so. I don't want to buy that expensive of baits, like 6,7oz baits.
  17. I'm new to bigger swimbaits. Never really through any bait over 1.5oz. I bought a Phenix 7'3" XHF up to 3oz to throw my swimbaits. But it seemed too stiff and probably too short. So I ended up buy a Phenix X-15 Composite CB805 up to 4oz. And it seems to load better. I'll get it a try tomorrow. The guy at my local tackle shop suggested it. Did I do ok on the new rod?
  18. Gar? Those are no joke
  19. Is Sensation still good today? I used this all the time about 10yrs ago.
  20. Shimano and Phenix for my bass setups. I have one St Croix Premier for my trout rod.
  21. Where I live at in Stockton, you can use live bluegills for bait. You just can't transport them to another place to fish with them. They have to be used where you caught them at. That is what fish and game told me. This is for the Delta.
  22. I'd trade it and get one that is meant for you. No reason to switch left and right, it doesn't give any advantage...
  23. Is there much difference between the two?
