New St. Croix UL with my Pflueger President LE.

Mounted my Met on a Tournament Pro.

Between these two reels, am I going to notice a huge difference? Should I spend the extra $50.00 for the XT? Regards

What size rod sleeves should I buy? Most of my rods are 7' and one 7'11". I've never considered any until now since I own some more expensive rods. Regards

I have both, the 15 Met DC and Steez. The Steez "feels" smoother, very lite, casts small baits very well. My Met seems more sturdy, looks better, imo, and a joy to use. If I had to choose, I would choose both, you can't go wrong with either.

I ended up getting a Lew's Tournament MB 5.6:1. Not too many people make a lower g/r in left handed...

I was looking at the Shimano 16 Met MGL 6.2 g/r. It has 24" ipt and the Shimano 16 Aldebaran 6.5 g/r has 25" ipt.

All of my reels are 7.1 g/r. I'm contemplating on getting a lower g/r for crankbait use, like a 6.5 or so. Will I notice a big difference between the two?

I have 2 hawgtechs, 1 avail and 1 Livre handles.

Was my first baitcaster. The only "drawback" is, the side plate would twist off easy after a while. After 3 or 4 casts, I was twisting it back on.

I've been thinking about picking a MGL up. Lower ratio for crank baits.

When I pitch, the dc kicks in for my reel.

The thing is, 190g is only 6.7oz, which isn't heavy at all..

I've lost a lot of expensive lures. Makes me sick to my stomach lol. But, that's life. Use tax returns to replace them lol.

Love my 15' Met DC. It casts just as good as my 16' Steez TWS. So far, no problems at all. Very smooth, very tight, no slop at all. Can't say anything bad about this reel.
