  1. In the Costa, I was looking at the 580P's. I like them because they seem to be taller, which I like. These are the ones that I was looking at, in the glass lens. https://www.costadelmar.com/shop/sunglasses/hamlin/13850
  2. Would these be a good pair of fishing glasses? Spotting and such? If not, what do you recommend? https://www.amazon.com/Oakley-Batwolf-Rectangular-Sunglasses-Iridium/dp/B00VU6D3K2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1473568403&sr=8-5&keywords=oakleys%2Bsunglasses%2Bmen&th=1
  3. That Fireline is tuff as nails. Nearly impossible to break. I've pulled in logs with this stuff..
  4. I just bought some along with their new braid. I'll give it a go.
  5. Put a Livre handle on my Met. I put the stock knobs on it, the ones that came on the handle are huge. I know some of you don't like the bigger handles, but for me, this feels good.
  6. Quick review of the St. Croix Glass. It's very sensitive. Even with mono, you can really feel what's going on. Casts very accurately. It's well balanced. I've seen posts where people were worried about glass rods being heavy. This 6'10" rod only weighs 5oz. For me, this is lite. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase. I've only caught a couple of fish, but hopefully this weekend, this will change.
  7. Overhaulin with Chip Foose, Engine Power on Saturdays.
  8. I know what you're saying. My Steez doesn't feel as refined like my Metanium. But like Goose said already, you can really feel the bottom when paired with a lite rod.
  9. Yo-Zuri Hybrid. Strong and very inexpensive. You can find it a TW for 11.00 @ 600yrds.
  10. Any tips on fishing the delta this time of the year in Stockton? I usually go to Whiskey Slu. Mid to high 50's and lows in the 30's.
  11. Ballistol might work for you. I use it for cleaning my gun and my fishing equipment.
  12. I just looked it was 47 for everything, shipping..
  13. I lost a Twitch'nNinja Glider only 2 5/8oz. 7" long.
  14. I was using 50lb i believe, this has been a while ago. I'll give it another shot. Thanks for all the replies.
  15. I could do that, but it's not what I want.
  16. I want to know how do you get bruises using a baitcaster?
  17. The reason I'm asking for this is, I lost an expensive swimbait using a casting rod. The braid dug and then snapped, I was on the bank, so I watched my 55.00 lure sail into the sunset lol.
  18. Does any use a heavy spinning setup to throw swimbaits? Are there any H or XH spinning rods for doing this?
  19. Probably my new 15 Met DC and St Croix Glass or my Steez and BPS Titanium.
  20. I don't think it has anything to do with diameter, it's the material that it's made of that makes it abrasion resistant. I might be wrong idk..
  21. I still haven't had time to really try it out yet.
  22. I only fish from shore and I rarely use my spinning setup. My baitcaster can cast lite lures just fine, plastics and such also.
  23. Yes, I was just using it for test casting in my backyard :D. It's one of the lures that's less likely to get hung up.
