  1. I use Militec-1 Synthetic Grease.
  2. Lightning Rods will work and get the job done.
  3. I had the same worries when I purchased my steez. I read some where that the t wing can come loose. I called a Daiwa service center and he told me the only thing that could happen is, if you're do heavy punching with like 65lb braid that it could knock the t wing loose. I don't know how true this is, I've never had any problems with my reel.
  4. Costas are my next pair. I'm looking at the Hamlins.
  5. Just picked up a pair of Maui Jims with glass lenses. Paid about 240.00, but the clarity is the best I've ever used.
  6. The 3rd one from the bottom?
  7. I'm using for my spinnerbaits and chatterbaits, Gliss 40lb Monotex. 40lb Gliss is @ .010 in diameter.
  8. Outdoor Sportsman in Stockton.
  9. When I bought my Zodias rod, the guy at the store said that he wouldn't use braid on it because of the ceramic guides. That the braid could wear a groove in the guides. Is that true? I thought the newer guides were OK to use with braid?
  10. I'm not really concerned about my Shimano being made in China. It looks, feels, and performs great. It's all that matters to me.
  11. This is true. I ordered the 30xt and it's about a 25 size. For me, the 30 is perfect size for bass fishing.
  12. The new St. Croix Glass is only 5oz..

  16. @Delaware Valley Tackle Anyone have a clue at what this sound might be? It's coming from the bottom of the reel. https://vimeo.com/204796353
  17. Replaced my MH Powell Endurance with a Shimano Zodias ML 7' for dropshots and finesse.
  18. I'm trying to figure out something. On TW I see two St. Croix rods. The first one is a 6'10" med lt. Line weight 6-10lbs and lure weight 1/8th to 1/2oz. The 2nd one is a 6'10 medium. Line weight 6-12lbs and lure weight 1/8th to 5/16thoz. How is the first one a med lt and the lure weight is heavier than the 2nd? I know the 2nd handles 12lb line weight. Is the line weight the deciding factor?
  19. Just looked, wasn't there. The Tranx is there though.
  20. The New 2017 Chronarch MGLs are out now on JapanLure
