There are Lew's BB1 Pro on E bay for 150.00.

I picked one up a few weeks ago and it's extremely lite. You can cast it all day with no problems.

I use a nice Powell Endurance.

Where did you get it at? They said a left handed model will be released in June. I might spring for it..

I use Militech Syn Grease also and Boca Lightning Lube. Thanks I'm doing that now.

How many of you oil and lube a new reel before using it? Do you find it necessary? Regards

I have the TLM1SHL . I found a 110mm carbon handle that I might give a try.

I'm looking for a new handle for my Lews casting reel. Right now it has a 85mm handle. I found a 95mm for it, but will 10mm make that big of a difference? That's like what a 1/4"?

Bought one when they first came out. The only gripe I had with mine is, the side plate kept twisting off while reeling a lure in. Besides that, I really like this reel. It was my first baitcaster. I have a extra spool sitting in my storage some where.

My new spinning setup. Lew's TL4000H, Powell Endurance 7'1" Med-Heavy Ex-Fast. Quick question. How do you eliminate line twist on a spinning reel? I never really paid attention in the past.

Wish I could say the same for BassPro. Sent my Johnny Morris in for repair, the thumb release was stuck down. Everything else worked perfect, look new also. I've had it for about 5 years. Had to pay $30 before they would ship it back. Besides my rant, I'm happy for you.

I agree that the size of the reel is important. My Ambassadeur 5601 C4 is quite big and I can't "palm" it that well.

I agree, I find my line "curling" when I don't use enough saliva.

I use the Trilene Knot and the Uni Knot, both are working good with fluoro. What brand of line are you using?
