  1. Jerkbaits work year round for me.
  2. I fish it with a random action. I usually will go jerk jerk pause, jerk jerk jerk pause, jerk pause, etc. In fairly cold water I most likely wouldn't give more then 3 jerks before pausing.
  3. What? No Booyah fans?
  4. Which rigging style do you find more productive? Is there a better time to rig backwards and a better time to rig average? Or is it just preferance? I understand how the backwards rig lets the Fat Ika fall away from you, im just curious which style works best for you.

They do work pretty great, but I do just as good with 4inch powerworms, creatures, and buzzfrogs. I find them to work best on rocky/gravel bottoms, and creatures/powerworms better on mud/sandy bottoms, but thats just my opinion.
  6. Plastic frogs, hollow frogs, spinnerbaits, and 5inch senkos catch more quality fish for me.
  7. If I were a bass I'd fall to a Fat Ika, I mean come on, you see how fat that thing is??? How could you not love it?
  8. Never caught a fish on a zoom trickworm. I have tryed them many times, and can never get a hit on them. I really don't know what im doing wrong :-?.
  9. Never really liked storm lures/softbaits, just seems low quality. Another brand I don't really like is strike king, they also seem low quality to me (excluding their 3x softbaits). Im surprised to hear such bad things about rapala though. Their huskyjerks, skitter pops, xraps, and original floaters work well for me. They don't seem nearly as cheap made as storm or strike king.
  10. Hey, anyone heard much about or tryed this new Trout bait yet? Is it better then Powerbait? Heres a link to it incase if you have never seen it before. http://www.cabelas.com/spod-1/0043369.shtml
  11. I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on which creature bait works the best for them. The Yum Wooly Hawgtail is my choice, the bass just seem to love it for me. Its even one of my go to baits.
  12. Green pumpkin, black, pumpkin seed, red shad, cinnamon (or any color similiar to a brown), watermelon seed, watermelon red, camo, and green pumkin red, those are my most productive colors for worms.
  13. Hey, I was looking at this lure on ***.com and it always seems to be sold out and not to mention its an expensive lure. Although this lure looks kinda funny. Anyone know if its actually a pretty good lure? Anyone here use it?
  14. Heh, yeah my dumb friend bought some of them . They didn't work for trash, and it just made me out-fishing him again for the 10345893th time a little bit sweeter ;D.
  15. I don't want to make a new topic for such a quick question, but can I ask real fast, what hook is most suitable for a Fat Ika?
  16. Anyone like the Live Pointer?
  17. I have noticed Luckycraft uses alot bigger sized treble hooks on their hardbaits then other lure companies. The treble hook sizes on their Live Pointer and their Fat Cb's are pretty big. Are these hooks a bit over sized or is it just me? And if they are is this a bad thing? Do you guys change the hooks on the luckycraft lures to a smaller size?
  18. I ordered some Fat ikas, buzzfrogs, GYCB Kreatures, Beavers, and Ringworms from them. I was very happy with their service as my shipment arrived pretty quickly.
  19. Never tryed their ribbon tails, but their Wooly Hawgtails and Dingers work great.
  20. 20/30/40? I don't understand :-?.
  21. Haha can't believe, I forgot to name the reel. The reel is a pflueger president (spinning reel). Here is the link to a pic of it http://image.basspro.com/images/images2/89000/89193.jpg. And no, I did not use any line dressing.
  22. I just spooled up my reel (by hand) with 8lb Berkley Vanish, and every time I open up the bail the line basiclly pours off the reel. Now Ive been waiting a month I'd say for the line to "mold" onto the reel, but that hasn't seemed to happen. I want to fish with this reel but im afraid im just going to get constant tangles. Is there something I did wrong when I put the line on? Or how do I fix this problem, do I just have to wait longer for the line to mold to the reel? Please help :'(.
  23. I also believe that a bass will hold on a little longer to a scented bait then a non-scented bait, so most of the time I will use scents on my baits if their not already scented. But as far as gulp goes, that stuff really does have sometype of "scent" in it trust me.. Now I don't know how much the bass like it, but I have out fished people fluke fishing who are using kellies, squid, spearing etc, and im using Gulp. I rarely fish "real" bait for fluke anymore, gulp works just as good *or even better* then live bait IMO, also gulp is so much cheaper in the long run then buying bait every day, or spending time catching bait. The only live bait that I will choose over gulp for fluke is live snapper, fresh baby herring, fresh baby mackerel, fresh small bunker, fresh baby mullet, giant size kellies (like 4-5inchers), or big fresh spearing. Now that might be a whole bunch of baits that I will choose over Gulp ;D, but all the baits I listed are not one bit simple to get.
  24. Hmm some great info here thanks . Although what color do you prefer in the morning? Black? Or the frog pattern?
