BUZZBAIT OR SPINNERBAIT
I would have 2 poles with me, one with a buzzbait and the other with a spinner, and just keep switching. The fish will tell you what they want.

What's your favorite way to rig a worm
I fish pretty shallow waters, so I rig most of my worms weedless/weightless.

Worm Binder Problem
Hmm so when you shore fishermen go for a day of fishing do you bring ALL your hardlures/softbaits or do you select a specific amount for which you feel will work that day?

Worm Binder Problem
I don't know, I hear you should always keep the softbaits in their original package.

Worm Binder Problem

Worm Binder Problem
Ok I have a small worm binder dedicated to stick baits such as senkos, dingers, etc. This small binder is pretty much packed. And what I have noticed is the yum dinger seems to be getting dented up a little. By this I mean some of them appear to be getting a flattish appearance to them . They are not unfishably flat but if you take a good look at them you can see the slight flatness. Im afraid over time, or until the winter passes they will be even more flat and turn to garbage :'(. Have any of you guys had a similiar problem like this? Or know a way of solving it? By the way this only appears to be happening to the yum dingers, I think its because there more on the bottom of the binder so they hold alot of the weight. I think switching them to the top though will just cause the worms I replace on the bottom to flatten also. Would you guys just take these yum dingers out of the binder? Or what would you do? Is it possible to overpack the binder?

Dicks sporting goods
The Dicks I shop at is pretty much similiar. The employees who work the fishing department know very little and they avoid helping you(there is about 2 people who work the fishing department/hunting). If you ask them a question they will simply respond with either "Ive never heard of that" or "Uh...if its not there we probably don't have it"(and the *Uh* is not an exaggeration, they literally say it). They rarely will walk into the aisle with you and try to figure out where the item would be, nor do I think they even know anything about the fishing lures or softbaits. In my opinion they should hire only experienced or semi-experienced fishermen for the fishing department. I only shop there for known plastics (which they only have a small variety, thank god they have some senkos) , and rapalas etc. The only reason I shop there is because they are fairly close. But there stock is hard to deal with... for instance. They had a whole wall of shakey worms like the shakey powerworm and others and no shakey jigheads.... So as anyone else would think I thought maybe they put the shakey jigheads somewhere else, even though it would be pretty stupid not to just have a supply of them hanging right next to the shakey worms they put out in the main aisle. So I asked one of their employees (this guy knew a very little, but more then the rest of em). And he tells me they do not have the shakey jigheads :-? How are you going to put out a wall of shakey worms and not sell the jigheads for them!! > That just baffles me... If only there was a cabelas or a bps in NJ then I'd be set 8-).

Shoreline Fishermen, Storing your baits?
I don't own a boat so I have to fish from the shoreline . I just want to know how the rest of you shoreline fishermen carry all your baits with you when your fishing. I have a vest that I use to store most of my softbaits, but my vest isn't going to hold everything this year , my lures/softbaits are adding up now that I been working ;D. I have no idea where im going to put my buzzbaits/spinnerbaits. Or my hollow bodied frogs. Maybe wearing a backpack over the vest? I think I have it covered for the softbaits, a small tackle bag will do the job most likely. But my buzzbaits/spinners/hollowfrogs are what im most concerned about, where do you shoreline fishermen store em? Also my hardbaits will be taken care of , a Plano box is easy to store in the back pocket of my vest.

Xrap for Striper?
I seen a saltwater version of the xrap, and I really liked the looks of the blue mackerel version of it. Has anyone had any luck striper fishing with xraps? If so give me the colors that worked for you, and the size of the stripers that were hitting it. The saltwater Xraps definetly look like they would work in my opinion. Here is a link to a picture of them. http://www.cabelas.com/link-12/product/0030741119457a.shtml The blue mackerel color im talking about isn't seen here but it looks exactly like the green mackerel just blue .

Strange Fish
The strangest fish I ever caught had to be a remora. (the fish that leeches to a shark) I don't have an actual picture of the fish I caught it is the fish on the bottom right) I caught the remora with a gulp swimming mullet on a jighead while fishing off the jetti for fluke. I just took a long look at it after catching it and then released it. If I could go back in time I would have tryed to keep it alive and got a camera . Was a fairly decent size too, like 26 inches or so. I truly could not tell the top of the head from the bottom, no lie haha.

Berkley Batwing frog, any good?
Has anyone ever used these frogs? I think berkley makes one in a gulp version too. Anyone have any luck with these things cause Ive never heard much talk about em.

hollow bodied frogs
In my opinion the Scumfrog series of hollow bodied frogs have the best hook-up ratio. When you feel how soft the body of the scumfrog is you will know what I mean. There hollow frogs are the softest I have ever felt in a hollow frog. Now I don't know about their hit ratio's although I personally have caught fish with them. Do other hollow frogs have higher hit ratio's? I couldn't say, but I can tell you that these frogs have amazingly soft bodies.

Can anyone send me a link to the strikeking 3x floating worm in pink etc? I looked on ***.com and couldn't find it.

What are some quality floating worms?
Im looking for a worm I can weedless rig and will float. I was watching Bass Fishing Edge, and they were using some type of floating worm about 7-10inches long, the body of the worm was a bit thicker then a zoom trick worm, and they were using it in a pink or cherbert color, the bass were just nailing it. Anyone know of this worm? Or any others that fit this description and float fairly well?
