I chose GYCB but Berkley and YUM work just as great for me too.

Does anyone like Berkley PowerBaits or Frenzy
7inch Powerworms and mainly the 4inch Powerworms work pretty well for me.

Scumfrog Trophy Series
Hey, I bought a Trophy Series scumfrog and they have a weight added to the back of it, which makes the end of it sink and the head stick out of the water. Can you fish this the same way as any other topwater frog. Or because of the back end sinking like this must you fish it a different way?

Favorite plastic on a shakey head?
I don't know how you guys like the zoom trickworm for shakey heads. I tryed them on it and they fall over and the shakey head doesnt stay up straight. I like the berkley shakey worm, they float/stand up straight on a shakey head.

Favorite Color For Fat Ika?
I plan to buy a pack or 2 of Fat Ikas soon, cause all I have so far is black w/light blue flk (which doesn't seem to good of a color for NJ) What are some popular colors for the Ika?

Lizard and rigs
Ya im starting to think bass will hit the lizard even if they don't live near the lake or the bass has never seen it before. The reason I say this is because creature baits work, and they look pretty weird, so why shouldn't a lizard work.

Buying Suggestions for Cabelas tackle.
I'll be making a trip to Cabelas soon and since I don't go there very often I would like to know some suggestions on baits to buy. You see im only able to really shop at Dicks and they don't offer everything Cabelas offers. What would you guys say are some "must get" baits at Cabelas? Also if you could recommend a good worm binder I would greatly appreciate that too. (I need somewhere to keep all these softbaits for when I walk the lake hah) Thanks ;D

T-rig Worms vs Senko style worms.
I was wondering if there is a better time to use T-rigged worms such as 7inch powerworms, culprit worms, etc over senko style worms such as yum dingers, gycb senkos etc. Is there a better time to throw a t-rig worm over a senko? Or a better time to throw a senko over a t-rig worm? Or is it all preferance? For example. Do t-rigged worms work better around cover then senkos? Do senkos work better on rocky bottoms and t-rigged worms work better on mud bottoms? Do t-rigged worms work better in shallow water and senkos better in deep water? Or are these worms fairly equal? What are your opinions on this?

Frogs?
I use the softbody frog in water that is less weedy. By this I mean some weeds here and there and here and there. Not COMPLETELY weeds like ponds can get. I feel the buzzfrog is just a better frog for this condition because 1. Its very soft and the hook set is very reliable. 2. The frog being fished like a buzz is deadly. 3. No hollow frog can imitate the gurgling and swimming action of a buzzfrog. Although I will use hollowfrogs on areas of ALL weeds, by this I mean the frog is ontop of slop and there are weeds almost everywhere. This is because the frog is completely weedless and the fish seem to love it slowly draging/pausing across the weed tops

The best lure
Vyron this is a link to the 4inch ribbon tail(thought I heard it was called ribbontail somewhere) powerworm I was talking about http://www.berkley-fishing.com/cat.php?k=49658&sk=46684. Although my 2 most deadliest colors are camo and redshad. (Notice the first worm has the same title, but is a different worm, I guess this is a mistake on their part, anyway the 3rd worm is the worm I call the ribbon tail and catches me most of my fish )
-
The best lure
With the 4inch Ribbontail Powerworm I can usually always catch a bass(Camo, or Redshad) The 4inch Cinnamon Senko would be a close 2nd. And for 3rd Iwould say a 4inch YUM WoolyHawg Tail in Greenpumpkin.

Swimming Senkos, a good buy?
Bought a pack of swimming senkos in watermelon w/redflake(any recommeded colors?). Anyone do well with these? If so how do you fish them, do you keep them swimming by just casting and retrieving with a slow pace? Or do you fish them like like a regular senko by letting em fall and repeat?

weird lures - ever seen/used these?
The Goby shad reminds me of a baby sea robin heh.

X-Calibur Baits-:) or :(
What about their topwaters, anything special? The paint job looked beautiful on em, but do they work any better then a rebel pop-r? Or are they not worth the extra money.

Gulp Sinking Minnow
Hmm, Im going to have to wait awhile to get back to you guys on how they work. I won't be able to throw soft baits like these until spring :-/, too cold in Nj. So far no one has tryed these baits? I can't be the only guy who bought a pack, can I?

Gulp Sinking Minnow
Any word on this soft bait? I bought a pack of them today just out of curiousity, plus they looked hitable. Anyone have much luck with these baits? By the way if you don't know what they look like here is a link to them. http://ec3.images-amazon.com/images/P/B000EPB3IY.01-AZ71P3AYYLDQO._SCMZZZZZZZ_V54700946_.jpg

Efinger Sporting Goods for Bass Tackle?
Has anyone in NJ ever shopped in this store for bass fishing equipment? I was just wondering wether they had a larger variety of fishing/bass fishing gear then Dicks. I am so tired of shopping at Dicks and want to check out another place that isnt an hour ride. Is Efinger a decent store particulary for bass equipment?

Jitterbugs- Do they rely work?
What color jitterbug is the best to go with? I know black for night, but what about a daytime color? Yellow maybe? or the bluegill pattern?

Big Bass -VS- Most Bass Lure
Summer: Hollow/buzz frogs, Greenpumpkin WoolyHawgtails, 4inch Camo Powerworm Fall: Hollow/buzz frogs 4inch Senko/dinger Greenpumpkin or Cinnamon Brown Spawn: 4inch Powerworm Redshad or Camo, 4inch senko/dinger greenpumkin goldfleck or cinnamon Winter: Xraps, Spinnerbaits Sorry, for me there isn't a single bait that produces the most fish, although there is a small list of top baits that catch the most bass during certain times of the year but there is no "single" bait that works the best for me. It also relies on the time of day and the weather conditions and the amount of weeds in the lake, there are just to many conditions that can change the type a bait that produces the most fish for me, I can't name a single bait.

Senko for trout?
Please move this post if its in the wrong category, I wasn't sure if it belonged here or in other fish species. I was wondering though if senkos would work for trout, particularly rainbows. I cut open a trout I caught recently using powerbait and found a 4inch senko in its stomach. So I thought maybe they would actually hit the senko. I bought a pack of 3inch cinnamon brown senkos and I plan to mold em in powerbait dough (so they have a scent ideal for trout) Has anyone had any experience using senkos for trout?

Gonzo Grub, any info on it?
How do you use it as a jig trailer? You just thread it through the hook?
