  1. it's because you went to hummingbird.com they have no 'g'
  2. Matt the site looks outstanding now.
  3. weightless senko......first and foremost!
  4. No, you can do that too. I do it alot esp. when I am feeling lazy lol. You just use a toothpick end to hold the t-rig weight The reason you c-rig is the line and the leader usually aren't the same line strength. Plus using the c-rig if you break off, you still have the barrel swivel (again usually)
  5. (answering matt's side bar): toads, pigs, sow, hogs, piglets, and momma
  6. Welcome! Yeah the big girls in there will probably not be on the bank this time of the year....fish deeper as a general rule
  7. Got it, thanks. (and again, sorry guys)
  8. With a c-rig, you are covering alot more water. (or I should say most who use a c-rig have a very long leader) You can also fish the water column ALOT easier with a c-rig, since the bait falls so slowly.
  9. I don't keep fish, but if I ever do, she'll be a big girl
  10. Okay, wow brother....I saved that pic to the desktop to further view that baby!!! %^&*%#^&!$^!^ lol What did she weigh??? (sorry for the off topic post, but you guys HAVE to see his smallie!!)
  11. My lord, is that a smallie in your photo?
  12. Thanks George for resizing them ...did you open P.S. and give them a size restriction, or did you somehow do it with the tools when re-posting? I can resize photos (L x W limits) in Photoshop if need be. I have plenty more photos to show too, and I also believe in the 10-4pm time frame. Matt brings up some good points about accurate casting, and also being quiet (entries, even with the TM I believe) Catching big girls is usually not by mistake, but yes, it can and will happen.
  13. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1150655240 Yeah I am loving them. I can't wait till fall is all I can think right now lol
  14. I would be glad to host photos for you, but I am trying to figure out myself how to keep the sizes in control. > RW, put some photos up...I love looking at big smallies
  15. Sometimes they say boats/jet ski's can churn lakes up. That lake sounds pressured to me.
  16. Bassin, Bass times, and Bassmaster. Online though......everything I can read. Books....murphy's book, the sowbelly book, the yellow covered catching big bass, or something like that. etc etc
  17. NE OK.....I have seen some of the huge ones very dark blue-ish/black. In another area lake, they were bright red. :-/
  18. I would think so too. I did see however some bluegills sitting on beds this weekend.
  19. Lightninrod....thanks for that link to the kore's. I got mine in Friday and they are great. See big bass thread in general for a picture.
  20. I agree with every point RW said. I caught a 7 1/2 pounder on a frog then a senko....she showed herself, then wouldn't commit, so since she told me where she was, switched to a senko weightless....BAM!!!! As far as quality gear and line....yeah agreed 110% again. I landed another 7 1/2 pounder with THIS IN FRONT OF HER COMING IN!!! And I mean all of it! Another 6 pounder girl taken from my friend on a frog. Then I caught a 5 pound fish on a jig. Etc Side not, can someone please tell me how to size this!!! Sorry guys. :
  21. George's pictures on his site say enough to me. I never believed to to much in the moon phases either. I do know one thing, you can catch bass anytime, esp in the pre-spawn....when i live on the water daily.
  22. My parents hired a guide on beaver last week. They were slaying them in the creek channels out in the lake. I have never been on Beaver, but the guide had the boat in 60 ft waters, casting to 19-20. that's a huge drop-off, so try humps too.
  23. I go anywhere from 35 minutes to 1.5 hours away 3 times a week. I HAVE to fish though, it keeps me sane.
  24. Not always will they go ahead and spawn. Sometimes eggs will be re-absorbed because she didn't spawn.
  25. You can catch bass all day....big girls 12-4pm
