  2. I wanna see how he does when they take him away from his home state honey holes
  3. Although my PB is 6 1/2lbs I believe I had a fish on once that might have gone 10lbs. Heres the story. My dad and i were fishing in Beech River on the TN River at Perryville (technically KY Lake) and we were fishing down a bank with lots of stumps and laydowns. The bank has always produced some good fish I believe because there always seems to be baitfish on it and is the closest good cover to the 20ft channel that runs through Beech River. We were fishing spinnerbaits and were catching several small ones all through the day. I through my bait deep into the biggest laydown on the bank and started slowly cranking it back out and all of a sudden something annihalates (spelling?) my bait. I set the hook and I see the biggest head of a bass I've ever seen comes out of the water. I start playing it and my dad gets the net then I got a good look at it. And SNAP! my line breaks. I just wanted to fall in a hole and die lol That was by far the biggest bass I've ever had on the end of my line. I'll get another shot though
  4. Anyone fish these yet this year? I know they just re-opened Oneal Lake for boats under 16ft. I have a JR club tournament on Oneal April 5. My first club tournament ever we caught and won with like 17lbs off of Swan Lake but I dont know anything about the other lakes?
  5. we've been out on lake graham a few times and have caught a few fish up to 4lbs on crankbaits around the dropoff on the side of points. We got out on the Tennessee River at Perryville (technically KY Lake) and caught a few small bass around channel banks and just plain straight banks with some wood with live minnows and chrome/blue bandit crankbaits. I think we are heading up around New Johnsonville this weekend so I will be able to post more info if we do any good then. The river level is well up from normal right now I believe it is about 362 1/2ft above sea level and normal summer pool is about 360ft. But 362 is very high for right now because normally the dont start raising Ky Lake up to summer pool until around the first of April. That effected the fishing considerably last week. The Beech River watershed lakes are probably HOT right now. Beech, Pin Oak, Browns Creek, and Pine Lake usually produce lots of big bass this time of year so I would definitely consider trying them.
