  1. At that price, just go to a shop and feel which one you like.
  2. Both of these comments are great. I would also throw a buzzbait in the mix.
  3. I nominate this for quote of the day.
  4. sorry, I couldnt help myself.
  5. I know trout eat them sometimes...
  6. I would up-grade your line size...maybe to 10 pound.

    Awesome fish man! Congrats!
  9. You are right! It's Big Creek Lake (on google earth, it says "Creek Lake"). It's just west of Semmes. I can remember going over the 98 bridge, becuase there were people fishing right as the bridge met the land. Looks like an awesome lake...Have you fish there before?
  10. Since the water temp. is in the 60's, start throwing a spinnerbait around docks, laydowns, and other cover.
  11. Awesome fish man!
  12. yeah, that's a little bit cheaper of an option for a similar type of bait to what Quinn was using. Micro, does it have the same sort of action that a 3 or 4 segment swimbait would have? I would think that with less hinges, there would be less S-like swim action. Yeah you're right, it isnt the Tru-Life. I know you asked Micro this, but I have a few Girons, and I love them. They're great for lakes I fish around here. It has a little less action than 3 or 4 segment swimbait, but it still has great action. Only thing is, you have to reel it pretty slow to get the right action.
  13. If it was the one with Jason Quinn, he was using the Tru-Life swimbait.
  14. I personally like a model 85. My favorite color would be Pearl AYU or American Shad.
  15. That's an easy one: a Sammy.
  16. Simple...spend the $50 dollars on the stuff that you know you want, and then save the rest for when you really need it.
  17. Wow. Glad to hear that you're ok. Like someone else said, it could have been much worse.
  18. Here's what I use: http://ttiblakemore.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_41&products_id=238
  19. My buddy has one and he really likes it. Thats all I can say tho.
  20. Just go back a few pages...There are many posts about them. Or you can do a search.
  21. You might want to post this in the 'tackle' section.
  22. Probably not too long after iCast ths year.
  23. Earlier this year, we drove down to Florida. We went through Alabama and went over this beautiful lake that looked awesome to fish. I'm pretty sure it was the Mobile water supply lake, but I could be wrong. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? This lake looked so good...I may have to take a trip down there to fish it.
  24. Those are some chunky fish. Great job!
