  1. I own a company that specializes in re-polishing marble and terrazzo.
  2. There is only one knot you need to learn when tying ropes to anything else, etc. That knot is called the bowline. It is easy to tie and will never slip. Guess what? I learned that knot, and many others, when I was a Boy Scout. At the ripe old age of 60 I still use it frequently. ;D
  3. I went to Academy Sports today and bought a box of assorted stainless steel screws for about $8.00. Academy didn't have a part I was looking for, so I stopped at West Marine, which is only a couple of blocks away. They had the $5.00 (my estimate) part I was looking for, but they wanted $27.00. While I was there I saw the exact box of screws I had just purchased, but West Marine wanted $22.00. With Academy around the corner, and BPS five miles away, I cannot figure out how this company stays in business. Hence my question. Do you at least get a kiss while you are being screwed by West Marine?
  4. OK, my spell checker didn't catch it, but you had to rub it in, didn't you? One more word from you and I will tell the world about how you confided in me at Lake Fork and told me how much like to wear silk lace panties.

Avid, if your computer is a Dell, as I assume it is, and Dell is offering a free BIOS upgrade, then by all means go for it. Just make absolutely sure that the upgrade offer is really from Dell. Log on to Dell directly and check for upgrade offers. There are a lot of impersonators out there who would love to hijack your computer.
  6. For your own good, never allow her to but a pair of glasses. ;D
  7. My friend, you must have special hidden attributes, because there is NO WAY a Mook as ugly as you should appeal to such a classy lady with such a classy chassis. ;D
  8. Glenn, I know you have filters, but little girl thingy?
  9. I don't know what the problem is. Leave the hook in the cat and toss it into the lake (tied to your pole of course.) Who knows, those lunkers might be looking for a little cat. ;D

If you are not VERY proficient with computers, I would strongly recommend that you do not mess with the BIOS. When installing new hardware or software, the BIOS is automatically updted as required by the new product.
  11. Great interview Russ! I especially liked the plugs for Bass Resource and for ***. Well done!

Carl, that wouldn't happen to be a quote from Muddy would it? ;D
  13. Thanks for the great responses guys, but I am a small business owner and I am so swamped with work (thank God) that I am having to work seven days a week. I have paid for the boat. but I can't make the time to go pick it up. There's really no need to yet, because I'll be working through the week-end. Best I can figure, my new (old) boat will be setting right where it is for at least the next week. Me? ticked? NAW!
  14. It's no great secret that DE junior and his step-mom have never seen eye-to-eye. Since Teresa has inherited control of DEI, it was just a matter of time before Junior bailed. I initially thought that he would go with his new company, JR Inc., but I guess he is much more valuable elsewhere. As said above, money talks and JR wants to win the Championship. Hendrix has both the money and the resources to provide both. Little E is going to become even more wealthy, and now may have a legitimate at winning the Cup.
  15. Burley, VERY nice work. I have been told that I am anal, whatever that means, but nothing torques me out of shape more than sloppy electrical connections. As you noted above, I've just bought a Tracker. While it has many worthwhile features, a 17-year-old boat has suffered a number of indignities over time. One of them is the electrics. Before I ever put my new pride-and-joy into the water I plan on getting the wiring into as good a shape as you have. BTW, I have the same GPS unit as you, but mine is B&W. Mike
  16. How much effective penetration do you need for orgasms? Whoops, organisms.
  17. Please go to the Home page and read the articles for beginners. There is a world of information there.
  18. Yup, I still have the other boat, and intend to keep it. It's hanging from the ceiling in my garage.
  19. I am overjoyed to announce that today I bought my first Real bass boat. It's a 1990 17' Bass Tracker with a newly re-built 60 (now 70hp) engine, all new carpet, and seats, new tires on trailer, four, count'em four, depth finders, 1yr. old 55lb Minn-Kota TM. Price? $4,200. I am one happy camper, er boater. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  20. At 6'3" the only thing the Boom Boom Room would cover is my butt. ;D

Sorry to report that it was not a let-down for me. I've never watched it. For once, Avid and I do not have something in common.
  23. Dominick, store and print away. I promise I will not tell my Cajun wife. Besides, she never tells me all of the ingredients anyway.

You're on, my friend! I know I can talk Catt into it, because all I have to do is wave a few links of boudin under his nose and he will agree to anything. I haven't come up with an Avid lure , yet.
