  1. I'm still trying to explain away the "I love Percie" tattoo on my shoulder. I didn't know it at the time, but the tattoo artist was hard of hearing.
  2. I'm not. This has gone too far. Goodnight, Irene.
  3. I can't wait until March!
  4. You also may want to take a hard look at the Raymarine Dragonfly. It has excellent color down imaging resolution, standard sonar, and GPS, all housed in a compact 5" display.
  5. You just barely squeaked by the minimum age. You are only one order of magnitude over the minimum.
  6. Attaboy, Chris! Attagirl, Becky!
  7. Gunner, don't worry about not having a boat. There are always enough boat seats to go around. NO ONE will be left standing on the bank, or in a float tube.
  8. You may have just discovered the whereabouts of Jimmy Hoffa.
  9. I thought they used Morse Code.
  10. Bearings and brake disks, and it depends upon how much you want to spend. Since you have asked a general, all encompassing question, without providing further information on the reels, I have provided you with a general, all encompassing answer.
  11. One of the advantages of using braid is that, in the event of a severe backlash, it's almost impossible to damage the line while removing a backlash. I've had backlashes so severe that I had to wait until I got home to try to remove them. More than once it has taken me over an hour to remove the birds nest, but then, I'm patient, and a real cheapskate when it comes to buying line.
  12. Just watched it. What an awesome lake! I'm not talking about the fishery, but the beautiful, stark scenery. Uh, and I am not the guy with the Senko problem.
  13. You guys may be great fishermen, but when it comes to math, I would suggest you switch to Senkos.
  14. There ain't no such thing as the square root of a triangle.
  15. It's obvious you have no further need for your kneecaps. My friends Vinnie and Bruno will be visiting you soon for a little batting practice.
  16. Now that's what I call a healthy discussion. Jrob78 went beyond the call of duty to actually weigh the worms and provide the information requested. WRB provided his experienced input. No names were called. No one was insulted. Gawd, I wish all threads were like this one!
  17. As said above, it's normal. As for losing casting distance, probably, but not much. Neither of these little problems are significant enough to dissuade me from using a leader.
  18. The list would boggle your mind.
  19. The great thing about braid is that it's almost impossible to damage the line, even with a severe backlash. All it takes is patience and one of those knitting needle things.
  20. Check out the Pfleuger and Pinnacle reels as well. Great reels at reasonable prices. Are you beginning to get the drift here? Everyone will have an opinion, but only you can decide on which is the best reel for you on any given rod. In the $150 price range, most any reel you choose will do the job, and will do it well.
  21. I'm the same way. I just put on the gloves, insert a set of chemical hand warmers on the tops of my hands and I am good to go. If they get wet, I simply change them out. I've tried a lot of the high-tech stuff, but I keep coming back to my cheap cotton gloves - but then, I don't live in areas where one's snot immediately turns to ice.
  22. I don't always fish with Ghoti, but when I do, I know my end of the boat will be MUCH higher out of the water than his.
  23. Opinions, opinions, opinions. To paraphrase Shakespeare, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
  24. Jug fishing is for catfish. Why come to a bass fishing website to conduct your survey?
