Zodias, Avid X or Zillion
I have a couple Avid Xs and Avids and love them, blows the E6Xs out of the water IMO in terms of sensitivity, balance and overall quality. Never fished a Zillion or Zodias. Might I ask where you find Zillions for 145$?

New St. Croix Legend Tournament Rods
They added a number of >8' rods for flipping and cranking and an >8' spinning but other than that I believe all the models in the last generation carried over.

New St. Croix Legend Tournament Rods
St. Croix previewed their new and redone Legend Tournament Series rods at iCAST this year and since then they seem to be sold out for the most part at TW. I loved the old LTBs and am planning on picking up one of these new ones but haven't been able to find any info about them other than what's on TW. Has anyone felt these rods yet? Read any reviews?

How many setups do I need?
I'm 15 and can relate to this alot especially a few years ago. The number of setups you have doesn't matter as long as you have a rod to fish the baits you use where you live. Being in Minnesota and fishing a variety of different lakes and rivers for both smallmouth and largemouth, I'm running 6 setups right now, 2 7' medium casting rods for moving baits like chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, squarebills, spooks and topwaters, a 7' med hvy for my jigs and worms, a 7'4 heavy for my frogging flipping and heavy jigs and 2 spinning rods, a 7 ml and 6'8 m for dropshots tubes and wacky rigs. These rods cover pretty much everything I do. Experiment with what type of fishing you like to do and buy accordingly. Some advice I have for you is to only buy rods and reels on ebay unless you get a great deal in store, it's way cheaper.

Lews Tournament MB vs Daiwa Tatula CT vs Shimano Casitas
Hey friends I'm getting one of my buddies into bass fishing and he needs a new reel for one of his rods. Since he's just starting up he's wanting to buy a reel in the 100$ and from what I can tell without fishing any of them these are the best options for him I could find (Tournament MB, Tatula CT and Casitas). If anyone has any experience with fishing these reels your input would be greatly appreciated. Tight lines, Jack

What should you look for when selecting a drop shot reel?
Drag is key. Like any reel, being lightweight will make fishing more comfortable but is not a necessity. Personally I use a Pflueger Supreme xt and a Patriarch both size 30 with 15lb. braid on my dropshot rods.

Good "All Around" Reaction Bait Rod
Personally for chatterbaits lipless and spinnerbaits I throw a 7' med power fast action but thats just my personal. For weights I almost exclusively use 3/8 oz. for spinnerbaits and chatterbaits and 1/2 oz. for lipless. As for squarebills I don't fish them too much but when I do I throw them on this rod.

FL Winter Pond Fishing
Going to be taking my first trip to Florida over Christmas and am planning on bringing some rods as there are apparently ponds that hold bass by where I am staying. Living in Minneapolis I have little experience with pond fishing and all the videos I've seen about FL pond fishing have been in the summer or fall. What about the winter? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Jack

First Time Catching a Seagull, What About You?
Ahaha I was fishing a spook for bluefish on Nantucket and a gull picked my bait up and would't let go until it was a good 40 feet up in the air. Man did that pull drag

Aetos vs. E6x
I've narrowed my search for a new rod down to two rods, the Fenwich Aetos and the Loomis E6x. For 95$, I'm leaning towards the Aetos. Which is the better rod?

Jig/Worm Rod
I just recently broke my 7' med heavy O. M. E. N. for the second time and decided that I'm done with *** and their crappy quality. I'm now in search of a new rod for jigs and worms and am leaning towards a Loomis e6x 7'1" med heavy xf. Anyone know any better rods for a better price? I would be fishing it with 15-17 lb fluro. Thanks, Jack

Flipping fluro vs. braid
Thank you everyone for your input, I really appreciate it. Spooling my curado up with 50# braid at this very moment!

Flipping fluro vs. braid
Good evening I just acquired my first rod that I will solely use for flipping heavy cover and was wondering whether to use fluro or braid? I will mostly be fishing 2-7 ft visibility lakes and fairly heavy pads and milfoil.

Mid Depth smallmouth tactics
Hey y'all The smallmouths at my lake hold in the 5-15 ft range at this time of year. I have been slaying them on dropshots, but when I pick up the crankbait I can't get bit! I tryed slowing my retrieve and changing colors but to no avail. I was wondering if anyone knows how to catch these fish with something that covers more water than a dropshot and stays down deep enough other than a crank. Thanks and Happy Fourth, Jack
