I realize your concern and try to always minimize time out of the water and on the ground. This particular fish was hooked odly so I had to cut the line and pul the hook out the outside of his mouth. Most fish I keep in the water when removing the hook but the water line was down and there was two feet off sinking mud between me and the fish.

Thats what it felt like. And drop it with the criticism.

Thanks for the tip! I usually use gloves though so I get a good firm grip.

I bent the hook on one of my laser eyes and lost every fish. Switched to a barbed hook and have landed every fish since.

Last time I used my thumb I got a painfully cut open thumb.

I was able to fix my current reel but I may get the Citica as a backup.

I caught it on my never fail watermelon colored worm with neon green tail. The pliers were all I had I couldn't find my gloves.

I am also thinking about getting the Fish Eagle Tournament 2 depending on how much money I can russel up today.

I think It looks great.

I really like the rojo so I think that may be my choice. I also like that it has a flippin switch.

I think I may go with the Procaster.

So I guess it is the Tournament or Megaforce now.

I got out to the pond that is 3 feet from my house that I have been neglecting. I got a nice 2-3 pounder on the line but he slipped of after I saw him. Also caught a nice 1 1/2 pounder.

Maybe some random person decide to put a few in a few years back.
