Hey there, I need some advice on spinnerbaits, having never fished them before I have no idea what to look for. What color do I get, what size, what kind of blades should I be looking at? How do I even fish them? Any advice I can get would be greatly appreciated. I am also shore bound if that makes any difference. Thanks

I have hand tremors that have gotten worse over the years and it has become harder and harder to tie and re-tie lures. I use braid 99% of the time and I am using the palomar knot tied direct. I'm thinking of going to a snap swivel for most if not all of my lures. I'm sure it's not ideal but at this stage I don't know what else to do? Along with the swivel should I consider a different line? I am relegated to shore and don't get to get out that often but when I do, it is an exercise in frustration with the amount of time I waste when I need to re-tie or change out the lure. Adding insult to injury, we just moved to a new house across the street from a lake and at certain times of the day I can hear it taunting me.? Thanks in advance for any thoughts you may have.

Good morning need to pick some brains I have 2 Daiwa BG spinning reels, a 2500 and a 3000. I have 15lb test on the 2500 paired with a med/fast rod What would you guys recommend for my 3000? Should I just stay with the same or move up alittle? The 3000 will be paired with a Med/Heavy rod. Thanks Gregg

I used to get really hung up on distance until I started working on my accuracy. Do this and I promise your distance will come; Go to your local elementary school and find a 4 square block. Use old line and a weighted plug. (Old line because it will fray like there is no tomorrow) Start out 10-15 yards away, make pitches, casts, whatever until you can consistently hit each box on the first try. Now move further away and do it again. Keep going, what you will find out is your distance got much better as your accuracy gets better. Do this and I promise, you won't ever worry about distance again!

Has anyone used these yet? They look incredible! Starting to think 3D printing may be a boon to the artificial lure market!

I'm thinking of buying an Okuma Epixor and confused on sizing. I'm looking to get a 30 size reel but saw somewhere that with Okuma I should go up to 40 as that is equivalent to a Daiwa/Shimano 30. Is there any truth to this?

Need some clarification; Is it recommended or not recommended to use braid with a slow oscillation spinning reel and why?

I'm pretty sure I'm in need of some sort of intervention. In the past year I have purchased and sold 8 different spinning reels. This past month I've purchased 3 more. Mind you,I'm not making any money on this, as a matter of fact I've lost a few bucks. I can't seem to stop myself. My wife thinks I'm crazy! Her most recent comment to me was" for someone who never goes fishing you sure do buy a lot of reels. I'm going to have to cut up your credit cards!" Is this due to the bite from the bait monkey ? and if so is there a cure? Just last night I purchased a Daiwa RG AB and a Legalis LT. OMG! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME?

I'm making life way to difficult I think. I purchased a Lightning Shock Casting Rod off EBay thinking it was a med moderate, ( because that's what the listing said it was)? but it came as a MHF. Now I already own a MHF Casting Rod and I'm tying myself up in knots convinced I need a med. I'm not going to return it because I only paid 33.00 for it. Tell me I can relax and just use the drag correctly with the mono line I have and I can get away with using this for shallow cranks and treble hook baits. Waters I fish are typically no deeper than 12, and I fish from shore. I also have a med mod in a spinning setup. Help me with my compulsion??

Stik o and clothes are now just about the only things I buy from them. Good selection on XL Tall shirts.Unfortunately the Shine has worn off, online much cheaper! I swearvtheir prices have gone up the last couple of years. Makes me sad as there is a store 10 min from my house.
