I'm curious if this is meant to be serious? Is that a standard assumption with guides? I am not trying to be wise here, just wondering.

This is what I use. I work in an injection molding shop so we have dozens of these kicking around. Just slowly close them around the middle of the split ring and voila, open sesame.

I'm thinking of getting some of the siebert version (pogy I think) with an upcoming order. Has anyone tried them and how do they compare to some of the ones listed above?

Would you say that they run true to size? Or are they over or under sized? Buying things where fit is important can be a gamble online and returning things can sometimes be a hassle. Just thought I'd ask.

I don't see why it's bad to help a fellow fisherman with information, even if they're nosy. I don't have a boat and I bank fish so maybe I'm out of my realm here but I thought everyone was all about community and spreading the hobby/sport of fishing. The Sox also seemed uninspired and awful. No starting pitching to speak of, whisper quiet bats (mostly), and crap defense when it truly mattered. The Sox ran out of gas despite playing well for most of the season. What moves are gonna fix a great team just getting tired?

I don't know why they feel the need to buy the rights for postseason baseball. Gotta be about the ad $$$. It's uninspired and awful. ESPN would be better but you won't see them doing postseason anytime soon. Also, and this may just be my eyes or my TV, but it's hard to distinguish the yellow from white on their outs graphic and the diamond graphic.
