  1. The TBS announcers are boring and they criticize the redsox almost as much as that hack Joe buck. Why are the national coverage guys always so terrible?
  2. And I can barely afford gas to drive to the local lake. Sheesh.
  3. Cheap and forgettable just like OBJ.
  4. They won the world series last year. You already forgot? Edit* knee jerk reaction to first sentence without reading the rest. Scratch that.
  5. He was a good pitching coach in my opinion. Some people have their place in baseball's coaching system. Some hit a ceiling and think they have to move up to full on coach when they are better suited for the job they excelled at. Like Farrell.
  6. Tito is ten times the coach that Farrell is. I wonder if Farrell can take some blame for how bad Toronto was. They seem to be better without him.
  7. Somebody throw a beer at this guy. From everything I heard, their best pitchers all got injured late in the season. I didn't pay much attention to other teams like I normally do but kluber pitched lights out and the first guy pitched just okay. Both made the bosox look foolish though. Buccholz will be the stopper after most people wrote him off, including me. Go figure. This is when having John lackey at a league minimum woulda been great. Just like the Sox.
  8. Sox aren't hitting, definitely not fielding, and the pitching isn't so great either. Looks like the last six games of the season were an indicator of how things were gonna go. Ortiz is swinging at everything. Yikes. Holt should have been swapped out after his mistakes tonight. I'm not giving up, just frustrated.
  9. Fun game I like to play every once in a while.

  11. Cards against humanity.
  12. Any luck with that bills?
  13. I'm really scratching my head on this one. I saw a floating bobber at the entrance to my fav pond and just hoped it'd float to shore so I could donate it to some nightcrawler kids. Not today! I eventually snagged it for fun to find this "dufus rig." There was about 2.5-3 ' of line between the sinker and spinnerbait and the bobber. This pond has dropped in this spot from about 12' to maybe 5 at best. No need for a 6-7 foot long setup.
  14. I don't follow. Dense as lead. So do you cut it into 2 separate pieces or just make more easily mendable halves ??
  15. Don't chop onions during final home stand pregame ceremonies. Would they be playing in this rain if the series aren't so important? Working on the mound so diligently every inning usually means a rain delay.
  16. Do you slice it into two pieces or just trim off the jagged parts?
  17. For me today, when they were chasing but not taking, I started to burn it for 4-5 cranks without stopping and slowing it down real slow for a few more cranks (like the bait was escaping danger). This was with lipless cranks and it was working great.
  18. Voltage lipless cranks at DSG for $3. They do sink fairly fast but they all run well so far of the 4 I've bought. I also don't know what you mean by large surface area.
  19. I have to know what else you have in there if it's not just a figurative junk tackle box. Do you actually consider it a gimmick or is that just its proper place in your collection?
  20. I grabbed two of the caster's on eBay for cheap and they're actually pretty decent for what they are.
  21. My favorite color is blurple
  22. The clown ends up being a lame spider. Spoiled!
  23. At this rate, with the Sox giving the everyday guys rest (which they should) it'll be a challenge to have a better record than Cleveland. Toronto will be tough. However I'm not a huge believer in home field advantage. You could shove science and facts in my face but I would still lean toward it being a superstition kind of thing. So I would much rather we rest Pedroia, Ortiz, Betts, Leon, etc than to run them out for games that don't ultimately help us in my opinion. Good to see Ortiz get at bats regardless. His season has been magical to watch.
