  1. Well, I was saving up for a new baitcaster, but things kept coming up so I ended up using the cash I had saved, the wife bought me a reel so I spent it ASAP
  2. I sat on this TW gift card for 6 months!
  3. I didn’t notice much difference in the bite between a 5” senko to a 9” ribbon tail worm. I say if they are on a worm bite, give it a shot, I think most conditions favor a worm. Oh yeah, I fish all mine T rigged, no real reason, just didn’t experiment much.
  4. They spawn in the kiddie pool!
  5. I bet with the sun and warm temperatures they’ll be moving this weekend, and I’ll be in Michigan visiting inlaws
  6. I’ve had a Lew’s that has worked just fine for 2+ years, a daiwa type r that I’ve only had for a few days but does feel really good, and had a couple quantum’s when I was a kid that still work but are huge by today’s standards. I don’t really have a favorite brand, I would trust the product to last from any major manufacturer.
  7. At least they’re honest?
  8. Cool, I never really hunted artifacts like that, heck I wouldn’t know where to start these days...
  9. It’s definitely cool looking, I thought it was flint.
  10. This is a good place to start, as you gain confidence you can loosen things up to gain distance, it’s just a matter of practice and patience. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/cast-adjust-baitcast.html
  11. No, I’m looking at the diameter. I marked the diameter on a piece of paper and used the ruler the bullet is laying on to measure the diameter. You know what, you are right, I marked the wrong line, it’s under 1/2”. I’m back to my original guess of .45 ACP!
  12. Yeah, I thought that to, but the second picture looks like it’s a jacketed bullet, of course it doesn’t look like a metal jacket either. I wonder if someone was deer hunting with a muzzleloader? nevermind, I see what you’re saying about the hollow base, I couldn’t see it until you pointed it out
  13. I’m not confused, That d**n solunar chart is confused!
  14. Ok, using the ruler in the picture, it puts the diameter at 5/8”! That’s no .45 ACP. That’s over 15 millimeters, so I have no clue what that would be out of, other than a big gun!

I can’t even see a chipmunk at 30 yards anymore!
  16. Do you have any way to get a diameter measurement? My guess is .45 ACP, but that’s just based on shape, without a diameter measurement it’s impossible to say for sure
  17. A bunch of expensive sticks cause Glenn didn’t spend any money on reels
  18. Thankfully no I don’t have it, I had to be tested for my CDL, since I’m a fatty mcfat, came back clear, but my mom does have it, I’m in the dieting process to lose weight to reduce my odds of getting it.
  19. I use the rage craw jr, the small one. That puts the claws just out of the skirt, and gives the whole back half of the chatterbait serious movement.
  20. The wife says that is 100% accurate... now if she’s just let me buy a new truck and boat!
  21. Annnnd he was wrong! Got a big 0. That’s ok, it was tough out, blue bird sky’s, high muddy water and cold wind... I did get a few hours of father son time in so that makes it all good!
  22. Taking my son with me, he says we are going to catch a 10! I wish I was still young and optimistic like that
  23. What do you think guys, chatterbait up shallow? Maybe a square bill? It’s stinking cold but I’m dying to get out!
  24. I think you’d have to be so good at casting to see a difference depending on what direction your handle was pointing that it probably wouldn’t apply to a lot of weekend warrior types like myself.
