  1. http://www.barlowstackle.com/Do-It-Hidden-Eye-Brush-Weedless-Jig-Molds-P263.aspx Barlows Tackle usually lists the other hooks that will fit in a mold. Allen
  2. Christmas tree bulb hangers from the Dollar store work best for this. Allen
  3. That looks like the 38109 Mustad hook and it will fit in a Do-It mold like others have said. I have made some in the past but didn't like the short amount of space between the hook point and screw lock. Allen
  4. Flick Shake hands down but the BPS version works almost as well and are a lot cheaper. Allen
  5. They all work but the Zoom Swamp Crawler is what I have been using lately. Allen
  6. My basement. Allen
  7. Thanks for the detailed tutorial, I have been wondering about using JB weld for awhile. Do you know the wire diameter on those inserts? They maybe what I am looking for in my next chatterbait project. Allen
  8. Not a fan of them myself but some people swear by them. For $1 you should give them a try and see what you think. Allen

  10. The Mann's Baby 1- works best for me overall and makes my top 10 crankbait list. Besides the Bandit Footloose the two shallow baits I have had luck with are the Team Daiwa Scouter Crank and the Jackall Zero Footer. Allen
  11. Working on duplicating the original Chatterbaits.
  12. Cadman has the best advice on this topic. All of my Lee pots have clogged and recently I have just given up and started using a ladle. Allen
  13. Living rubber is a PITA and melts in your tackle boxes but some people are in love with it. Personally I use Starflash skirts in place of round rubber. Allen

I am better at bait making than I am photography. Allen
  15. Original Rat-L_Trap and Red Eyed Shad work better for me than any of the high-end lipless baits. Allen

Some of my recent baits I have been working on. Allen
  18. Fishbelly Hawg Shad. Allen
  19. Bent pole is the primary pattern on the Potomac River. The best was the 3 boats that pulled up and started fishing around me in the middle of nowhere. I stopped there just to make some long casts to get rid of some small backlashes. Allen
  20. Back from the grave of 2006. I roll my own hidden weight spinnerbaits. Allen
  21. Zoom Super Chunk is the best overall jig trailer I have used and can be bought just about anywhere. Allen
  22. Basically there are our only 3 common types of skirt material; square cut silicone (most popular), round silicone (Starflash), and round rubber. They all have their advantages and disadvantages and you will need to experiment to see what you like. I use all 3 but the round rubber I use the least because it melt together and is a PITA to work with. The upside of round rubber is people swear by its liveliness in the water and the recent Bass Master Classic winner was using it. Allen
  23. You can buy bobber stops on Amazon for like $0.02 each. Allen
