  1. Well said Since money is not an issue send some my way! Allen
  2. Zoom super chunks 4" grub for swimming jigs Just about anything will work though? Allen
  3. Ok, I just spent the last 20 minutes deleting old PM's and I did not see anything about a trade? What do I need to send you then as I am working on a list? Allen
  4. Rapala Husky Jerk Smithwick Rogue Bomber Long A Strike King Wild Shiner Allen
  5. I like about a 3" natural colored minnow bait. Last year I had a the best luck on a Hawgshad 2.8" minnow but I used them all and could not find more. Now I have a soft plastic mold and just pour my own out of supersoft plastic. If the fish are really feeding a 2.5" fluke works real well. Allen
  6. Super glue gel is what I use to glue in the weedguards unless I am clearcoating painted jigs at the time with Devcon then I just use that. Looks like I need to find something to trade you for some of those football jigheads? Allen
  7. Look good! Balsa is about the softest wood I have ever seen and honestly could be carved with a dull butter knife literally. Big M who posted earlier makes cranks and could give you info on where to best buy the right balsa. Myself I always seem to end up carving my finger so me wood widdling is at a minimum :-[. For the wire I picked up some 19 guage wire form Wal-Mart and wrapped it around an old nail to make hook hangers. Wrap the wire around the nial, etc. counterclockwise that way when you go to screw it into the hole you drilled then epoxied it does not come unwrapped. Allen
  8. Is that a weedless mold? I have a couple of test colors from fishingskirts.com along with at least one of every skirt tab they make and I still ask him to make custom colors for me. One weekend you need to come up to Hagerstown and I can show you my lure/luremaking dungeon (aka basement). I have the 2 piece silicone mold making down and you should see some of the urethane resin crankbaits I can produce . The bad part is I suck with the digital camera so I do not take or post a lot of pics. Allen
  9. I believe it is just a generic name like Kleenex for tissues? I still think it could be circuit board though but it isn't a circuit board. With all the nano surface mouny technology how many semiconductors do you think we could get on one? Allen
  10. Trying to come up with a good sunfish pattern silicone skirt pattern is hard huh? I have at least 20 differeent versions and only a couple look right to me. For some reason I can never get the green back with parts of blue like I want it? The baits you have are looking good! How heavy are the football jigs? Allen
  11. Drop shot with a 3" power worm has worked for my on 2 outings so far this year. Allen
  12. Rapala shad rap RS Allen
  13. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=29673&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults I just use the tool that was made for this. Allen
  14. Post some more pics of the bait I always like to see other peoples work. Allen
  15. Just about anywhere on what is considered the Upper Potomac has SM. Allen
  16. I have only fished there once last summer and there was nothing but grass! The lake does have a lot of small yellow perch that I suspect is a large food source for bass so I would digout my perch colored baits. From the launch ramp straight across is a bank that has a steep drop off that maybe good. The main place I would try is to the right at the riprap and the small cove to the left of the riprap. Allen
  17. At a weapons expo while I was in MP school at Ft. Leonard Wood I agreed to let the Tazer rep shock me. He used aligator clips on the ends of the probes one attached to my shirt and the other to my belt. I have been shocked with a stun gun, maced, pepper sprayed and tazed but the tazing was the worst for me. Tazer is trying to sell guns to civilians with a 30 second burst aimed at womens self defense. Allen

Those are the ones used on Lucky Craft crankbaits, correct? I believe so but someone on here is going to say VMC sharpened by Daiichi? :-? Why would a Japanese company buy American hooks then have them sharpened in Japan :-? but I do not want to start a ticking match. I will just say that they are really sharp and have worked well for me. Allen
  19. Posted that while I was drinking But you are right I need to change it. Yes I know what a Tazer X-26 feels like and I do not wish that on anyone that is a law abiding citizen. Allen

Also look for the Micheals (craft store) 40% off coupons as they sell airbrushes. Allen
  21. Yes and the 103623 is the Norman dd14. Check out these guys for some more cranks? http://www.luremaking.com/catalogue/catalogue-index/catalogue-items/crankbaits/glued-crankbaits/glued_diver_bodies_.htm The 3" fat shallow diver works well to and use to be sold at one of the major retailers in the US like Jann's. The 2.5" bluegill looks like it would work as well? Allen

Daiichi death traps in black nickel. Allen
  23. While the best bait depends on the day here are my overall top 5: LC pointer 78sp, LC Slender pointer 97mr, Team Daiwa 1091, Smithwick Rogue, Xcalibur XS4 Honorable mention: LC pointer 65sp (works great but catches a lot of small fish), Evergreen M-1 inspire minnow (would make a top ten list), Rapala Husky Jerk (works great for me in non-moving water but not rivers), Megabass Vision 110 (all or nothing bait? either they are all over it or nothing) Allen
  24. X2 Allen
