see I've must've fallen deep in the bait monkey trap then because I don't see why the professionals would have all these different baits if it didn't make the difference at all what you threw in certain situations, If you could just throw them two items when fish are suspended or schooling and be just as prepared as the guy with 15 techniques and have them all mastered. I do get LOCATION is what matters that's the first thing and main thing but I just think in a tournament situation having multiple baits/presentations will prepare you to out preform the guy that just throws a jig/worm.

See I find this hard to believe in this day and age your telling me someone who is versatile and in every technique is not going to put more bass in the boat than you if you fish the same areas?

I do agree with this, as you learn location and other things are way more important but how do you think about the mega bass 110 vs other cheap knock off bait when you know the 110 catch's more fish does it not tempt you to purchase there? Also for the confidence baits thing if you only fish 5 x baits that are your confidence aren't you really just hindering your self in a world where mass info for all the other techniques that are more appropriate for x situation?

Yeah I get it most people on here get annoyed by this question. I don't plan to only fish in a small section of the country and plan on traveling for tournaments. I also wouldn't mind knowing this even though I know every single tournament/person is different, it is interesting to me.

I’m not just asking about spinnerbaits. What I’m teyjng to ask is a pro has around 23 rods or so in the boat. This is always changing yes but in gerenal they usually have xx. I’m wondering if anyone has any old info from some forum/magazine/video etc where someone listed what these rods are as far as action/length goes.

I’ve posted similar threads before but was still hoping I could find a link to an old article or something of a pros tournament set up with how many rods they own. Example how many spinnerbait rods and are they different is one a 7/2mh one a 7/6 mh etc. I know everyone is different but more curious than anything else. I can’t believe the info is just not out there.

What would you reccomend from the Fitzgerald for good swimbait Rods? Mainly looking at any series but the vursa. Plan on throwing s -waver 168s a lot big soft plastic single hook swimbait s large s-waver 200 swimbait s so pretty much all the styles of swimbaits

Good morning everyone. I finally got all my tackle pretty organize and realized I have a lot of stuff I’ve gather over the first two years that is just not my confindece baits, for example strike king crankbaits, booyah colordo spinnerbaits (now I know these work) I use double willow spinnerbaits now, I much rather use other higher end baits or more “proven” brands... so all that being said what should I do with these baits?

So he says he doesn’t ping them, does that mean he only uses mapping at the trolling motor or turns off both units completely?
