The new Curados are great reels. For what you are using I'd suggest the 300. As far as the tux is concerned, absolutely get one. I'd recommend you buy a tux though, and have it fitted. Your wife will be very appreciative of the extra effort.

Whatever you do, do not sell your gear. I got burned out on fishing big time back in early 2003 and only sold my boat. It took 4 years for me to get the urge again and I'm glad I kept most of my stuff.

Heffner builds some amazing vehicles for sure. He built a twin turbo Gallardo for my friend Eric. According to Eric, it's so fast it's scary. I honestly have no desire (right now) for another exotic car. They just don't do it for me anymore. I get more excited about modding a reel now. ;D

Russ, Trust me the *** is no where near any Ford, Mustang included. The transmission shifts like butter, gobs of torque and not a shiimy or squeek anywhere in the car. It was on par, performance wise, with my Lamborghini. It shifted smoother, but the one thing that bugged me was that the clutch didn't catch til you were close to being off the pedal. A lower release would be much nicer, but that's nit picking....

I've always loved these cars. Came real close to buying one when they were available, but I just couldn't convince myself to pull the trigger. Driving one was a big mistake too. Enjoy the pictures.
