Thanks guys. I did catch this one from shore. Lake X also has a pond that has some incredible fish. I caught this one on the way out. She was about 7 lbs. I didn't get a chance to weigh her though. I caught her on a white horny toad.

We were on some nice fish, this being the hi-lite. That line was from a previously broken off attempt, so I was able to remove the hook and let her go to be caught again.

Wow. I'm 39 and have no issues holding it. Then again, I just tie it in a knot if I have to. ;D

Good gear is essential on and off the water. I'm partial to Columbia PFG, Under Armour fishing gear, and when the weather is cool I have a Victorinox vest I like to wear.

The rods aren't that bad. For the price you're getting a good rod. I'll admit I don't use mine much, but that's only because I have a few other choices.

I've had a few swimbait outfits through the years. Without a doubt, the best setup is my current one. Steez SVF Swimbait rod, paired with a JDM Zillion HLC and Samurai 70 lb braid.

I DVR'd the show and watched the last couple minutes frame by frame. You must be talking about when he jumps in, and two fish swim away from him. One top right and the other horizontally across. They are huge. They are also not bass. They're carp.

She questioned where you were and was upset - even though she knew you were at a tourny. That keyed me in on what seems to be fairly obvious as others have mentioned. You may have to man up and have the talk about where she was for the week. Who she was with. If you've been out fishing and not spending quality time together, it may just be that she found someone that is paying attention to her. Making her feel special. You may think no way - but I'm willing to bet that is what the issue is. I hope you can talk to her openly and just be honest - an apology for not being with her will help, but it sounds like you may be at the point where your actions could be the difference between staying in your relationship or not.
