I've not had the pleasure of fishing with them yet, but I can tell you that seat of the pants observations on the rods is that you are getting 90% Steez for 50% of the price.

Shimano Stella 3000. My favorite and only spinning reel. It's the same size as the 2500, but has a deeper spool. I call that extra line capacity "insurance".

Too bad you don't live close by, I'd tak yo fishing so you could try them out. When you're ready to get one let me know and I'll offer my opinion as to which would work for your needs if you like. To be honest, if I had to choose a favorite rod brand today, including Megabass, I'd choose the Evergreen rods I have hands down. I like them that much....

The rod is not telescopic, But it is a two piece similar to the Ballista. Bassin blvd, I wouldn't hold my breath for that type of sale.

This rod in particular is the newest technology in graphite. The pattern you see is from the process used to make the blank. Are they more sensitive that the GLX rods? Maybe. What you're paying for is the technology, finish (second to none) and exclusivity. As a certified tackle nut, I just think they're cool.

Fantastic rods, Comparable to the Steez in weight. I think they are underpriced, to be honest. You'll love it!

They are very well made baits, I have a few I that I bought to try in Brazil. I love the fact that they are through wire constructed with XX strong hooks. No modding required.

True, Rick, but you can purchase these reels and rods from Ebay and one of several Japanese sites that ship to the states. Micro, I have no idea if they will be available seperate or not. As soon as I have pricing and availability on the reel I'll make sure to post.

Oh and I dont think this reel is coming to the USA. >
