Happened to me a few weeks ago with a rod. They usually take 4-5 days to arrive from Japan, this time it took 3 weeks +. Nothing you can do but wait.

I've had 2 bass boats. one a 20', the 2nd a 22'. I'd be hard pressed to buy another bass boat smaller than 22'. Safety, comfort, and storage are all maximized in the larger boat.

One of the scariest moments in my life came in 2007 during a Brazil trip. We were forewarned that the weather was not favorable that year and water levels were high. Like dummies we still went. During one of our fishing days that started off clear and sunny the weather turned faster than I thought was possible. In no time we were literally surrounded by thunder and lightening strikes on every side of our boat. Slowly we made our way back to the lodge. There was something surreal about being on the water and seeing lightening come down a few miles in front, next to, and behind us. I'll never forget that day, and I'll never go back to Brazil when the weather is bad.

I'm hoping they will produce the standard 522 alongside this boat. This has the bottom of the 600 series boat with the cap of a bass boat. It's a big water boat and looks a lot heavier than the standard 522. I should be able to see it at the Sportsman's Expo in Sacramento this coming January.

It's way too deep. Fishing the Delta here in CA, I need a big boat that can get into skinny water. Not going to happen in this barge.

I wish that was the case. Here are better pictures of the boat. Much deeper than the 520 next to it. Takes an XL shaft engine. Massive.

I've been waiting patiently for this? A 22 ft bass boat/walleye boat? Also, the consoles look like they came straight out of the late 70's. I can see the appeal for those fishing the Great Lakes, but here in CA, fishing the Delta, you want a big boat that can go into skinny water. This is not the boat. I hope they'll continue to build the regular 22 ft boat along side this one, as it looks like that will be the boat for me next year. This one will definitely not work for me. http://vicsboats.com/
