Had an opportunity to pick up this very rare reel. Glad I did. It's the most precise fishing reel I've ever laid my eyes or hands on. I'm not sure if I'm going to use it yet, I may just keep it on my desk. Here's a stock photo.

I had an issue with getting some high mag glasses and thin lenses. Found a place that imports lenses from Germany, Zeiss lenses to be exact. They are pricey ($700 just for the lenses) but well worth the final product. Best part is that they can put their lenses in any frames you want. Im staying in Boca a few days as well. I'll be happy with one day of fishing but I'd love to get 2. how far from the glades will I be? Ideally I'd love to fish there for small tarpon on bass gear.

We saw a bobcat at the new place about a month ago on the driveway. About the size of a lab. The coolest thing I've seen was a jaguar swimming across the amazon on one of my trips south.

For $50 Siete Lleguas anejo is ridiculous. Better than some pricier bottles for sure.
