  1. Now that's a party.
  2. Those arms look like my arms!
  3. After much thought, I'm shipping the rod off to Matt to get it fixed. Thanks for all the offers of help guys, it's appreciated! Here's a couple pics of the obliterated handle.
  4. Cool, thanks! 1 TB on its way.
  5. I assume you had Voom then. I had a nice little travel mug they gave me. I wish they were back up and running so they would give me another one after a training. Look in the very near future for Directv's DVR to go back as a true Tivo unit like it was a few years ago. If it is just as the new Tivo is for cable and OTA, its going to be very nice. The Tivo rep I spoke with when demoing their new cable/OTA DVRs said this new unit should be out sometime after the first of the year, so hopefully anyday. It may even be the one I have seen them advertising, but I haven't noticed a Tivo logo on it yet. It is supposed to allow you to pause and go into another room and pick up the what you were watching, and also be able to download movies and etc. It was Voom! For the time it was awesome, all HD movies including some that were classics.
  6. I've had DirecTV for about 7 years now. Prior to them I had that service that was all HD that went belly up. I've been very happy with their service. I have a DVR in the living room and one in the bar, as well as an HD receiver in the bedroom and one in the garage. I've not had any significat issues with them at all. I think my package runs $160 or so, but I litereally have every channel they offer. The price has never gone up that I can remember. The only issue I've had is that their HD DVR doesnt really hold a whole too many shows. It would be great if you could add an additional hard drive for more storage. Who knows, maybe you can? Also when the weather is really bad, you can lose your image. It happens once or twice a year.
  7. More than happy with my Droid II.
  8. I love striper fishing. Nice one Paul.
  9. holy moley. thanks for that. There were several with my addresses. Deleted all of them!
  10. There is no Brokeback fishing on BR. ;D
  11. You're all welcome.
  12. Eric, Trust me in that I completely understand. I hope it works out for you to be able to go. This is their fall specail - however, after talking with Marisol (She really really sounds hot ;D) we may be able to get a better deal than that. I dont want to ask for a better deal till we get a SOLID number of whose going and commited. We can all figure that worst case, we pay $1890.
  13. That would be great if you and Eric could come together. We need then just need 2 more to make it 8 and were set. Just confirmed with my group of 4 for the dates. We're way early so hold onto yoru cash for now. We wont be booking or sending in any monies til about April. As of right now the Lodge is holding our spaces so we're square with them. $100 in for big fish per person for the week works for me. Fair warning....I've done that every year in Brazil, and my dad has won every single time.
  14. ok boys. Just got off the phone with Marisol from Anglers Inn. She sounds hot. 5 nights, 4 days of fishing will run $1890. Arriving Nov 7th. Fish thru Friday then back to Mazatlan Saturday. I tentatively booked a group of 8. You will have to get yourself to Mazatlan. Preferably Sunday the 6th. I may arrive Sunday or Saturday the 5th. I have 4 committed to my group already. I'll be looking at hotels to say at in Mazatlan. Deposit of 20% required 15 days from booking. 30% required in June. The other 50% required in September. I also asked about safety. They have never had any issues of any sort either on the van ride to the lodge or at the lodge. Obviously, this is Mexico, so travel at your own risk guys. :-/ I'm stoked. Already trying to figure which rods Im taking.
  15. The only show that I watch every episode of is my buddy Larry's show, Hunt For Big Fish.
  16. Eric, You have to come if this trip happens.
  17. Green sculpin.
  18. Was going to say...either sculpin or gobie.
  19. Based on those that post their catches, and excluding pros, it's a tie in my book between Fourbizz and Paul.
  20. I think it's silly for Cabelas to commission a reel like that. They should have made 50 or so and given them to their top employees. Those reels will not sell well I think.
  21. We'd have to arrive in Mazatlan, and from there Anglers Inn has a bus that would take us to the lake. I'm also looking at the possiblity of chartering a plane that would take us right to the lodge. If it's too pricey then obviously that would be a no go. This could very well be pretty awesome.
  22. I dont think you'd be looking at more than $3k total including flights. I'm planning on gathering info soon so I'll post what I find after talking to someone there.
  23. I'm thinking November. Guys, seriously, those interested pm me. If we get a group of 8 or so then we can probably get a cheaper rate. I have 4 in my personal group so far.
  24. Would not change a single solitary thing. I'd buy more wine, tequila and a jet card. Flying private is awesome.
