I can't stop ogling this rod. It's beautiful. It'll get a good workout this spring. Here's some pictures I took. Rod comes with its own flannel shirt. An idea of what's inside. My first split bamboo rod. Megabass Rossa Pregunta. Detail work is awesome. Tail end. Handle work is impressive. The ferrule fits nicely. Again awesome detail. I think the yellow Pixzilla looks great against the bamboo. The cork grips tie it all together. The classic round reel looks at home here as well. Thanks for looking.

Tipptruck, I have to say I am impressed with your exotic car acumen. No plans to buy this car. Never really been a Ferrari fan. I am however very interested to see what the new Lamborghini 'LP700' flagship will look like. I've been out of the exotic car world for a couple years. May be time to get back in it. At the moment nothing really impresses me. Nothing that I'd want to buy atleast.

I did just repair it. I've come to realize that I should have a 2nd prop just in case something like that happens again. I'm not into top end speed. I prefer better whole shot than top end speed. I'm more than happy cruising along at 55-60 in my boat, which it does just fine with the current set up.

I should have the rod tomorrow. Wont be able to use it for months. Oh well. Will give me time to find a reel that is possibly better matched.
