Out of the 2 rods mentioned I'd go for the Loomis. I'm familiar with both rods and simply like the feel of the Loomis better. I may also add, I'm not sponsored by either brand so my opinion is unbiased.

Are you sure you can? I wanted to do the same thing in my Z22 but found out that the console is bolted and glued. You may want to call the factory and see if thats the case with yours.

This rod does nothing for me. I think the 'golden age' of Megabass is over. Their Slant Bridge rods from 2004-2006 were and always will be the best of the best as far as I'm concerned.
