  1. That's the equivalent of the question I asked on another forum for reasonable champagne recommendations and someone suggested Krug 1988. I aspire to the time I can buy that type of wine. Let me let you in on a little secret. This stuff is amazing for the price. http://corkd.com/wine/view/106602-2008-the-crusher-wilson-vineyard-cabernet
  2. This was posted on Teamspeed.com I know this is not PC to some (get over it), yet I think it is worth sharing. I have verified this at several levels and it is accurate. I know I needed this reminder, since Sears isn't always my first choice. It's amazing when you think of how long the war has lasted and Sears hasn't withdrawn from their commitment. Could we each buy at least one thing at Sears this year? How does Sears treat its employees who are called up for military duty? By law, they are required to hold their jobs open and available, but nothing more. Usually, people take a big pay cut and lose benefits as a result of being called up for active duty. Sears is voluntarily paying the difference in salaries and maintaining all benefits, including medical insurance and bonus programs, for all called up reservist employees for up to two years. I submit that Sears is an exemplary corporate citizen and should be recognized for its contribution. I suggest we all shop at Sears at least once, and be sure to find a manager to tell them why we are there so the company gets the positive reinforcement & feedback it well deserves. I decided to check this before I sent it forward. So I sent the following e-mail to the Sears Customer Service Department: I received this e-mail and I would like to know if it is true. If it is, the internet may have just become one very good source of advertisement for your company. I know I would go out of my way to buy products from Sears instead of another store for a like item, even if it's cheaper at that store. This is their answer to my e-mail: Dear Customer: Thank you for contacting Sears. The information is factual. We appreciate your positive feedback. Sears regards service to our country as one of greatest sacrifices our young men and women can make. We are happy to do our part to lessen the burden they bear at this time. Bill Thorn Sears Customer Care From what I understand, Sears does this for up to 60 months. Pays the difference between their normal salary and what the military pays them plus maintains their benefits. On a personal note, if I have two equally qualified persons applying for a job, the veteran will win out every time. My company, my rules.
  3. Try Caymus or Caymus Special Selection. It will ruin you for Cabs. A close 2nd is Silver Oak.
  4. I like Mexican sodas.
  5. "Ok sweetheart, since we were gonna spend $100k on interest anyway, now I can get that new bassboat right?"
  6. Droid 2 is awesome. I love mine.
  7. I never acquired a taste for coffee. Heck I don't even like the smell of it.
  8. From what I've been told by individuals that have seen the finished version, there are several design cues from the Reventon as well as the Estoque design study. I can't wait to see the finished version. Also I wouldn't buy a first year production car. I'd wait til atleast year 2 or 3. My 05 Murcielago was a completley different car than the 01-04 cars. Regardless, I'm excited to see what it looks like and look forward to some seat time. The only gripe I have at this point is the fact that I would not be able to order it with a 6 speed manual. It will only come with a 7 speed paddle shift transmission.
  9. Winkelmann has done a great job of keeping the new car under wraps. I'm shocked that no pictures have been leaked to the press, however one lucky journalist was able to test drive the new prototype. He says it runs circles around the current SV. May be time to get into another one. http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/254451/
  10. In the ~$50 range there are a couple that are fantastic. Mind you these are sipping tequilas, altough I suppose you could shoot them too if you want. I prefer them at room temp as well. Siete Leguas Anejo and Chinaco Anejo are two favorites in that price range. For ~$100 the Cuervo Reserva de la Familia is awesome. $175 Asombroso Anejo is a favorite....$300 Herradura Suprema is nuts...and the ultimate tequila is the Asombroso 11 year Anejo at $1,000 a bottle.
  11. I'm going to assume you're serious. Patron is owned my John Paul DeJoria. The same guy that makes shampoo. Nuff said.
  12. Cuervo Reserva de la Familia is in my top 5 favorite tequilas. Having sampled close to 400, I'm pretty opinionated on the subject. Cuervo Gold on the other hand, is great for...nothing. ;D
  13. I'm at 5 doubelws oif sietw legaus ankeojo. I'st reagyll gdoo tquslzela.
  14. The annoyance factor will be 10x higher on these than jet skis.
  15. Understood, however the poll allows only for a finite number of choices. In reality, I dont think the numbers sold of those particular brands wouldnt be all that high?
  16. I've always been curious to see how the results would pan out based on both spinning and baitcaster reels. I have my preferred brand for baitcasters, however for spinning reels I would only consider a different brand. Please vote!
  17. I have a bottle here at my home bar. It's not bad.
  18. There's a big difference between 'while supplies last' and 'while I'm so drunk I dont know what the heck I'm doing' ;D ;D
