I would say wait until they're back in stock. No use compromising what you want just to get it earlier. Get the reel you actually want and can use

Plenty of good rods in that price range, Ugly Stick Elite, 60$ Abu Garcia Vengeance 50$ Abu Garcia Veritas 2.0 is on sale at cabelas for 79.99 off of 100$!!!!! I reccomend the veritas. I've heard good things about them.

for 24$ you cant go wrong. Pflueger makes some good stuff.

Daiwa RG-AB 2500. If you want more line capacity go with the 3000. Good reel for the price (about 60$)

I have some Berkely Gulp 4" night crawlers I got on sale at MC sports in the fall. I'm trying to get stocked up on fishing stuff I need for this spring. I am planning to use Owner Mosquito hooks on a dropshot. should I use size 6, size 8 or size 10 for the 4 inch gulp crawlers. Thank You

60 lb flouro leader. The pike arent huge where I'm fishing. Also I've casted tsome big spoons 1/2 3/4 and 1 oz on line as light as 10 lb mono. (While it worked ok, probably not my brightest move!)

I've read something about using 60 lb flouro as a bite leader for pike because its harder to see than steel (makes sense!) Anybody else do this. What is your favorite flourocarbon for heavier leaders (60 lb)? I would be tying the 60 lb flouro to 30 lb PowerPro if that helps. Thanks.

I'm not exactly fishing heavy cover, I'm ripping spoons along the edge of hydrilla beds for northern pike. I'm not punching or frogging or anything. maybe sometimes trolling the (weedless)spoons through the hydrilla in my new 'yak, but not anything much more extreme. thanks everyone for the reply

ehhh I think i will stick to sending my reels in to a service place to be cleaned and lubed. too much of a hassle where do you take your reels to be serviced i am looking for a good place. Probably going to go with Bass Pro to clean my reels. where do you go

that is the old version. this is the current schematic. it's either part 55 or 56. pretty sure that it's part 56. not exactly sure what part 55 is I don't think I've even seen that one. Maybe that's my problem but it worked before. thanks for the help
