  11. Looking good man! All those are pretty dang nice deer. Nice of you to let that kid hunt, the memories will last forever. Thank you, lots of deer have been shot by my family members with scars/wounds from bowhunters. And while I do (crossbow) hunt, (I cant shoot a compound well enough to ethically hunt) I think it's definitely important to practice, practice, practice. I am an avid rifle hunter also, good luck to you and your son

  14. I used to fish a lot at boat ramps when i was a kid for panfish. There was always the guy launching his boat who is a jerk to his wife for no reason. I remember wanting to say something to the man but what can a kid do? I have a feeling the wives quit fishing pretty quick.

  16. yes I get it's few months away, but who else is ready. Food plots have been planted (in August) and already I'm seeing tracks. Maybe time to break out the trail cams
  17. ive had no problems with mine except the biggest guides epoxy is a little loose. Their quality control must be having trouble, Their customer service is supposed to be really good though. I have the 7M also. Very sensitive and I've accidentally whacked it on the ceiling a few times. Still not broken. Hope you get that figured out.

  19. Very true, I learned a lot. There are good people on here.
  20. okay, I'm not exactly sure how to check the voltage. Would it be hard on the battery to just top it off every once and a while? I'm not sure if the charger can be adjusted but it does say Ship and Shore on it. EDIT: the box says it mantains at 3 AMPS not sure how that translates to volts
  21. Lots of good information here! I will keep this in mind and hopefully I can help someone else someday! x2! I will keep it in my basement then. There's a wood stove and dehumidifier down there so it shouldn't freeze and/or corrode ovenresource.com good luck with your project let us know how it goes. Thanks for sharing your boat information with me I learned a lot about battery's and charging, The blue 50$ Walmart charger that we were talking about earlier, will that work for float charging? If it's just one battery have, I don't mind hooking it up to the charger every 4 weeks, I can mark it on a calendar or something. This is a lot of good information, thank you for helping out a trolling motor beginner.
