  1. I think I’ll buy one, (6,6 LF) it should be better than my current light rod anyway. I think I should be able to throw even lighter than 1/8 oz with 10 lb braid, (with a leader of course) and I will pair it with a Daiwa Legalis LT 1000 reel, Daiwa seems to make good stuff... EDIT: how is the KASTKING warranty and customer service...? Are they okay to deal with
  2. What’s the lightest lure you think you could throw on it? I was thinging a size 15 or 20 reel and 10lb braid. 7 foot 2 piece light or ultra light
  3. Anyone own one? They have a 6 6 foot 2 piece F for only 60$, the specs seem too good to be true...
  4. Thank you! Frog fishing is a new thing for me I believe you probably saved me a few lost fish... will be placing a TW order in the near future and the snaps will be on there
  5. I have been reading about different brands and the one I hear mentioned most is decoy egg snaps. Reviews on TW are good. I will use them mostly for Pop-Rs (regular size), Rapala original floating F-9 size and Booyah Pad Crasher Jr (the smaller one). which size would work best? I can’t find them in any store I go to for size comparison. If someone could tell me a good size or even just post a picture of different sizes that would be much appreciated. edit: quick google search saw some size comparisons, thinking of getting size 1, 1.5 and 2. 3 looked a bit big.
  6. Looking for a rod for spring trout. Around 6’6”-7’, light and needs to have backbone and sensitivity. Used for rooster tails and mepps possible small spoons and jigs. There’s a possibility for catching small 2~5 lb coho also so I don’t want a noodle. I like my rods on the stiff side and not whippy. Thanks
  7. the rig kit was funny but it was the page itself that had me dying...
  8. same! I thought I was the only one
  9. Honestly thats probably the look on his face right now. i still "need" another reel and some line. Thanks! ( I'm pretty sure I hear that same song...)
  10. Thanks to everyone who helped, I have plenty of bass tackle now. Or Do I... (Looks like im workin for the bait monkey now...)

  13. I enjoy fishing with poppers and Rapala original floating lures. To get better action i like to use a snap swivel. I recently learned, that that is not such a good idea. i tested them and they break very easily. I learned more about loop knots. They dont look too difficult to tie but the knot strength leaves something to be desired. What do you use?
  14. i feel sorry for your friend! I wonder how it got in there in the first place
