Nobody has fished these huh... guess I'll have to get some and report back to yal then.
  3. All the x-raps I've ever bought except for the x rap countown came with feathered trebles . And I have a bunch . Lol. It's a good addition to a suspending jerkbait for sure. I don't know anything about making them.. just fishin em
  4. I don't think so. But I've never used one with a fluke. It's not necessary! If you want to make sure it's rigged right; jig it around in the shallows . You'll know right away if doesnt look right. if it does circles, the bait is not rigged center. I'd use the super fluke over the regular fluke too.
  5. Ha-ha ! @stk44 you're invited !
  6. Bud if you think you need to spend all that money on a fishing pole you're sorely mistaken. Are they nice ? You bet your ace... in every way. But, I've had 40+ fish days on a 30$ spinning combo. And also caught my personal best on a 29.99 Jimmy Houston spinning rod. my most expensive combo is a casting and it was 169$. I'm 9 years your senior and been in the real world for about 7 years. Moral of the story is get what you can afford ? Do we all want to drive a Lamborghini? Sure... but that civic gets you goin where you need to go every day. At 15 years old you have alot of time.. don't try to keep up with everyone else.. half these men are 40+ years old and have put their time in ! You seem very keen for your age. Get what you want while you can... Before you have kids... dun dun dunnn.
  7. I dont.. just make sure they are as straight as possible when on the hook, or they do circles. If you have em rigged straight, they "dart" every which way with the slightest movements..
  8. Ha-ha and anyone who says their fish selection is crap has never been to the one in Dundee, MI! That place will blow your mind.. I've never been impressed with any cabelas after that because that was the first one I went to. Every other one around me is just.. mehh . "Satellite stores"
  9. Are they nice. Yes. Live target makes fish catchers for sure.. are they worth what they are charging ? Not to me... not when I can get 2 cranks for that price that both produce.
  10. Yea wow. Looks like you do it more than just the off season! Nice.
  11. I like to play cards. Alot. Texas hold em. A few buddies, football some hot wings.. my kind of weekend. This is interesting. I bet you've found some neat stuff..
  12. Ha-ha . Idk about a better man. But it does take patience. It's a lot of work for sure..
  13. It was this !!!
  14. With 40 bucks... get em a rapala fat rap (6$) a pack of senkos (7$) some gama 3/0 (3.50$) , lead bullet sinkers (2$) , a jig (2-5$) , a pack of rage craws which he could use on the 3/0 hook or the jig. (5$) , zoom super flukes (3$) , SK red eye shad (6$) . And grab a slim Jim for yourself on the way out.

Sanshouo ? Anybody tried these yet ?!? Also the zako swimbait ?? Thoughts?
  16. I thought I was banned . ! Ha-ha. I tried to get on the site from another computer! Lol
  17. Nice ! Yea it sure does. And I'm not too fond of it through the winter. I like doing kitchens.. like cabinets.. except for the plumbing ! Ha-ha. Also floors are usually a slam dunk especially if it's vinyl, laminate, or like a floating hardwood . Interior doors are pretty easy, framing is ok.. My favorite thing to do is light fixtures. Ha-ha. The only thing I don't really care for at all is drywall.
  18. thanks fellas. And deak , you do similar work ? Or you just like being handy.
  19. I'm going to have to agree with the live series not being as effective.. but I do catch fish on them. And only started fishing them here recently. I do have a DT4 "live pumpkinseed" that has caught bass , bluegill and crappie in the same day . I also caught a big bass (at least 4+) this season on a "live river shad" shad rap. Their new(er) yellow perch color has been awesome for me... I've caught several mature bass on a scatter rap shad yellow perch. As for the Ike colors.. I've done well in the blue back Herring , on the scatter crank shallow. One time I pulled 3-4 bass off the same point almost back to back with it.. I also like the "penguin" , "old school" , and "girlfriend" . Some good stuff man I really like fishing these products. I always have confidence in them .
  20. I want them! All!
  21. Whooped me these last few days. We had the shelter of a garage and a small heater but it was still very cold. Turned out nice though. I'm happy for the owners.
  22. Sorry everythingthatswims lol
  23. A-Jay Chevy and GMC are a prime example. Same motor. Same chassis . Some leather seats and a different badges and it costs 15k more.
  24. Cabelas blade bait has different holes for line ties as well. And they don't charge a bunch for their bait so that's not a good reason . We all know confidence is key. I refuse to pay extra when I can get a quality bait at a lower price ? It's like "High end" cars. They dont cost that much because they are worth it , they cost that much because the rich(er) want to pay for something that costs more. And they want those cars to cost more so someone like me could never have one. Same for the Yamamoto's . Why do they cost 7.99 a pack ? Because people buy them by the truck load. I'm sure the price will keep inching up as long as the sales are parallel. Maybe those expensive baits are better. but I'll never know cuz I'm busy catching fish on my "bargain baits"
  25. What would you want ? There you go.
