  1. Bass pro http://www.basspro.com/shop/en/bass-pro-shops-extreme-worm-binders-large Check out the double binder bag. I have 2 and they store all my plastics
  2. I don't have any experience with any FF , but the helix 9 mega . I can tell you, that I use the autochart feature as much, if not more than my side imaging. I fish alot of lakes with weeds and use this feature to fish breaks and depth.
  3. Ok. I spent the last few hours researching and decided the curado k is not the reel to use for pitching. Now I need to decide between the curado 70 and the mgl
  4. Overall. The cronarch is low profile with 8:1 gears. Where as the Curado is 8:5. Just want to know, on paper, which would be the better of the 2 for me.
  5. I am looking to buy a new reel for pitching grass. Which is the better reel for this?
  6. Your on the right track. Get rid of the battery selector ( no need for I ). 50 amp is the correct breaker. A 4 or 6 gauge wire should work between the batteries. I'm assuming you have 2 wires running from your trolling motor. If you do, you can use the same plug. MAKE SURE when you wire the plug, that you have neg to neg and positive to positive when the plugs are connected. Use this page (https://www.minnkotamotors.com/Battery-Selection-Rigging/) to determine what size wire to use from the battery to the trolling motor. Hope this helps
  7. Thank everyone for all the help. Looks like I'm going to buy a smart strike card
  8. I am trying to decide between a smartstrike card and a lakemaster card. I saw the same lake lists for both products and was wondering if the smartstrike showed all the lakemaster lakes. I know you need to have a hd map to use the smartstrike, but will the smartstrike card still show the none hd lakes on my helix?
  9. Lucky you. Don't quote me, but I think there are only 14 lakes mapped in PA..
  10. Not sure what it's like in MD, but in PA there are very few lakes that have contour maps. I bought a helix 9 si gn2 which has the ability to make my own maps. This has doubled my catches.
  11. Where u launch your boat at Kaercher, about 50 yards out there is an under water fishbowl (previously an old farm pond) Try the drop offs. Usually good for a fish or two
  12. Who is offering the $30 off. I been wanting to buy one
  13. Hey. Where in SE PA. I live near Cabela's. Welcome
  14. Hi. I just bought a Helix 9 si. And I had a 778c humminbird given to me. If I run a either net cable between them, do I have to mount the transducer for the 778c?
  15. I want to thank everyone for your replies. I have used spinning rods for my neds. The whole reason I want to use a baitcaster ( even though it's gonna cost slot more) is for the accuracy when I cast. I Don't want to stir up any debates, I'm just way more accurate with a baitcaster!
  16. Is it possible to throw a Ned rig with a baitcaster? If so what rod and reel would be suitable for this?

  18. Nice job. Is that the one from amazon? If it is, my buddy just ordered one too. He asked me to borrow a hole saw for it and I forgot what size the saw needed to be.
  19. Here is the link https://www.amazon.com/Marine-Grade-Socket-Cigarette-Lighter/dp/B0112KJ09S/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486758803&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=us+solid+marine+grade+dual I used 12 AWG marine grade wire http://www.bestboatwire.com/marine-wire/marine-primary-wire/12-awg-primary-wire Not sure how many feet you have to run the wire, but I used 12awg because of the amp draw of the DC outlet. You will also need 2 12-10 AWG HEAT SHRINK QUICK DISCONNECT WIRE TERMINAL FEMALE Like I said it was fairly easy to install. I used a hole saw for the outlets and the rest was pretty simple. Sorry I tend to ramble on. I'll be happy to help if you have any more questions
  20. I bought 2 usb/DC outlets off of Amazon. They are waterproof and easy to install. I ran them right to my fuse panel. That was about 2 years ago and have not had any issues.

I saw his pic and googled it. Next year when I replace my deck I'm going to add a few of these to my boat!
