  1. The 8:1:1 was $118.95 last Tuesday. Take your time and watch on eBay. All 3 8:1:1 tat sv's I bought were under $125
  2. Thank you. My buddy gets sea sick, so we're going to fish inshore
  3. DON'T DO IT! You'll just keep buying more. I started with 1 now I have 3. All kidding aside, when you decide to buy one, look on eBay. The last one I purchased was $118
  4. Hi, I'm headed down to the Keys, with my wife and another couple, in the middle of February. Along the way, we are stopping in Islamorade. My buddy and I are looking to take a guide, to go fishing, either bay fishing or fresh water. Can anyone offer me some suggestions on a good guide or maybe what's the best fishing there. Thank you
  5. I have Helix 9 mega side imaging on my bow. You DON'T have to be moving that fast to get great detail. I have gotten clear images at .3 mph. You learn to adapt to the direction of the TM. I have found Creek beds, small valleys , trees and the list goes on. You will love the mega imaging I hope this helps.
  6. I really don't know alot about electric TM. I have read that they are not as fast to respond as cable steer. Will that be an issue weaving through the trees?
  7. Yes. I love this rod. Just don't try to boat flip a 4 1/2 pounder. You'll have a two piece rod. ?
  8. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-MJRRODS.html?from=basres This rod was made specifically for drop shoting. This rod is more sensitive than my St. Croix premier
  9. This ^. I have 2 Curado 70's that I use for pitching. I have tried a few diawa's that I used for pitching, but they are are used on my bottom contact rods now!
  10. Keep an eye on eBay. Dawia tatula sv' s can be found for 119.99 Throw in a Dobyns and that puts you right in the ballpark.
  11. I drop shot with a tatula sv on a major craft finess rod. I have an extremely high hookup ratio with this rig. the only time I pick up a spinning rod, is for a vertical drop. I'm not saying this is the best way, but it works well for me
  12. you all sold me!!! I just ordered my H3. Now I wait. Thank you everyone
  13. I was looking at the 7' 1" mh xf H3, but then started thinking about the Klx. I fish a lot of plastic usually with a 3/16 weight. It will be my first $250 rod and I wanted it on the sensitive side
  14. I am looking to buy a worm and light jig rod. What is the difference in these two rods
  15. I have a helix mega. Not sure about lowrance, but at .3 mph I can see branches on under water trees. I have mine mounted on the TM on the bow. I fish alot of electric only lakes, so having it on the console would be a waste. It all boils down to where you fish and how you fish. I have seen posts on this subject and it seems like it's a preference, so you're gonna get alot off different opinions

  18. 25 days of Christmas starts today! Seagur is the first sale
  19. I want to color some of my ElaZtech plastics and know there are stains that will melt them. Can anyone tell me which ones won't?
  20. Everyone has an opinion on baitcaster vs spinning. That's ok. It's what makes the world go round. ? My personal preference is a baitcaster, for the same reason "I can run the line over my index finger for added sensitivity" . If you are really considering using a baitcaster setup, this is the rod for you. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-MJRRODS.html?from=basres
  21. If ur interested, I have a Shimano Citica 200hg for 90 dollars shipped. It's a good reel, i just upgraded to a curado 70
