  3. Yup 4K editing would need a special software for it, most video editing only support 1080P unless you pay for premium or professional ones. Also you would need dedicated graphic card computer/laptop in order to editing video perfectly for any kind of effects add like fast forwarding or slow motion. If you gonna store video on your own hard drive to watch, it should be fine but to upload to YouTube I don't see the need.
  4. For jerkbait I like small reel and light weight one, curado 70 or 50e.
  5. ^^^ this ^^^ i was gonna post the same. I think I have most of that problem with bubble walker but not super spook.
  6. I often video just for myself entertainment and my friends and family. I most of the time chest mount but do mount on pod above head on kayak. Head mount is not very good, there are too many motions evolve. I use knock off Gopro version, edit with movavi suite where is good enough for slow down/speed up zoom and add music/text background. I record in 1080P and save in 1080P for better quality, I don't see the need of 4K. Before I alway has water proof case on but my voice become so tiny and sound ridiculous, unless you have aux mic I just don't use case anymore and attach powerbank to camera where I can record up to 5-8 hours without turn on/off. If you plan to mount on a boat be sure to secure it good last time I stupidly set tripod on my boat and within first movement everything gone underwater.
  7. Gotta like FL, short sleeve in middle of December with a hawg from bank.
  8. Welcome from SoCal as well.Iam in riverside area.
  9. Nice bass, congrat
  10. Flip a coin, whatever you are good. Don't worry about line capacity @14lb/100(SV)-110(200K)yds, you are good for any kind of bank fishing. They size both capacity and palm-ability are about the same. Even prices are not that much different. I think it comes down to your preference between brand and type of breaking system.
  11. I have 90, 110 and 130. I like 110 a lot but 90 should work well in small pond too.
  12. Yes electrical tape should help, but Im wondering if any thing wrong with your reel seat. I had cal 50 and never had problem with any rod I own.
  13. Move to SoCal and you will know what high tax feel like. We got them all and among the highest in country. Fed, state, property plus special assessment taxes, sell tax, gas tax, cigarettes tax, etc. most that suffering is working class ppl who get screwed front and back, TWICES.
  14. Bank 70%, boat 20% yak 10%. I don't have a lot of time each trip 2-3 hours so I rather grab 1-2 setup plus a few lures and head to my fav spots.
  15. Yup I use the cheapest I can find, as of now it is old white Dacron line from my old saltwater reel, I think either 60-80lbs.
  16. Stock bearing shouldn't cost you much along with carbontex drag washer less than 30 maybe? I'm not sure if more expensive bearing like boca bearing would help you much at all for this type of lure. The Cardiff is one of easier reel to maintenance but if you are not used to open the reel, DVL should be able to help you and determine what need to be replaced, you might not need new bearings at all.
  17. How about a pro angler or you-tuber?
  18. See, you should have made a trip to canyon lake for winter season. It is still 70-80 during the day here.
  19. You know what just happened? i was bank fishing along the crossways, the nice beautiful bass boat pulled in 5 feet from shore about 40-50 ft away from me in the direction in front of me (I was at small dock casting toward rip rap). All I can say is "RALLY? Thank you and hope you catch a big one" and left since he already ruin that spot from big engine anyway (he drives all the way in with big engine). Doesnt matter how many rules there are, for me is just not to do anything to others that you don't want them to do the same to you.
  20. I tried 10000 mah once and I can record 1080p @30fps almost 10 hours this was not wifi enable and record at night with no light or little activities. Now I use 5000 mah when I go out on fishing trip and the longest I ever record was 4-5 hours and still have some juice left on my power bank.
  21. We know how to fix slow rise jerkbait to suspend but anybody try to make slow sink to suspend without changing hook size?
  22. No offense taken man. That is how those asians eat their fish ? , for US white prefer fillet pure white/red fish LOL.
  23. I also think either Rapala HJ08 or luckycraft SP65 is perfect for smaller profile jerkbait. im not sure if you are spinning or baitcasting user but smaller than these, you are looking into BFS set up.
  24. I wish you speed recovery, in the meantime think it is a good time to learn new techniques, finesses that is. Dropshot is good you don't really need to do anything just move you lure once a while. Senko is also known to get bite for doing nothing. Bring a long handle net with you to aid when landing big bass if you can.
  25. I don't see no harm if you know where to hang the fish, otherwise get a small plastic grippers to help secure bass by its lip.
