Fishing to me is relaxing and peaceful, I don't want it to me stressful. My job can be stressful enough, do not need to add more stress.

Out this weekend chasing the whites busting shad

Texas rigged has always worked well for me.

Just curious but when you say "they are busting on shad", are you meaning large mouth or white bass? The reason I ask is in the fall, especially, the whites are the ones busting on shad. If it is whites then a rooster tail is the ticket.

If the white bass are still chasing the shad, I'll keep on chucking the pop R. Especially if it is cold and nasty out, they seem to be more active.
