  1. yum dingers gotta luv'em
  2. September does slow done a bit but the weekends are still busy. However, during the week in September you really don't have to worry about boat traffic. Away from Bagnell dam would be the least traffic but Sunday afternoon to Friday the lake is pretty quiet.
  3. You don't need an expensive kayak to get out and fish. If it's going to be ponds and small creeks then I would get it and go catch some fish. Also, by buying a cheaper kayak you can figure out if this is something you like, if it is you can always upgrade and sell this one down the road. I bought a field and stream from dicks years ago. Still use it today, there are more expensive ones out there but this one catches fish just fine. My advice is buy it and have some fun.
  4. I usually start with a chatterbait (a lot of confidence in them) and if they don't work then the swimbait gets thrown. I try to keep it simple.
  5. I've fished from my kayak for about 6-7 years now. You don't need a high end kayak to catch fish (yes it may be nicer but not required IMO). One of the things I learned is don't get in hurry. Position yourself to help use the wind or current to your advantage.
  6. I use them with no complaints.
  7. everyone is selling then buy
  8. I picked up a field and stream from dicks years ago. It has worked very well. Is there better out there, yes but for the price (they seem to always have a sale in May) I would buy it again. You don't have to spend a lot of money to fish from a kayak. Get what you want and have fun.
  9. I have a boat and a kayak. Both have there places when to be used. However, there is something about catching fish from the yak. I love it.
  10. great start to 2019
  11. I don't like to complicate things, so keep it simple for 2019, so goal is catch more fish.
  12. good trouble shooting chart
  13. boat was put up a couple of weeks ago, so now it crappie fishing from the docks for me
