  1. Small rivers suck in winter, big ones with dams are much better everywhere I’ve caught winter smallies, it’s 10+ feet deep one step off the bank
  2. Hahahah!!! She was thinking about getting me one, but I don’t want anything expensive because it’s guaranteed to fail. Just a standard cable steer 24v foot control is over $500, I can catch fish standing on a rock and use 500 bucks for jigheads until 2029 but I think i found a bow mount for $300 at academy, 12v and hand control
  3. I got a Christmas bonus, might be trolling around mid January !!!! Look out fish!
  4. Just fish with a bunch of white soft plastics in your boat during a downpour. Viola, everything is bone the next day
  5. I meant before it ever gets to the grocery store . And maybe in there too (out back). And of course restaurants……. Way to stay proactive tho!

  10. Shoot, you ain’t gotta drive all the way to Michigan for that! We have all those species in single spots up and down 650 miles of river haha. (only problem is the smallmouth are much smaller and much smarter here)
  11. You got some black Diamond strings on that Martin box??

  15. Isn’t today the first day of winter? At least the days are getting longer now
  16. Oh come on Paul, that’s typically what people that haven’t caught a big largemouth say
  17. Rule number one of plumbing: **** runs downhill in all seriousness , I google usgs water data for waters without a dam, tva.com for waters with dams
  18. I’ve only paddled one bonafide and you aint throwing and going anywhere with that thing unless youre Andre the giant. update: I had the brands mixed up, perception was the one I paddled. It’s a behemoth
  19. I forgot this was one of those threads…… I like the idea of ice fishing, and watch it frequently on YouTube , just not sure I could walk out onto a frozen lake when push comes to shove
  20. One of my buddies is a fireman, he chased the pro fishing dream for a few years and had the free time. He is darn good, almost made it. His oldest son won a high school bassmaster national championship and got a college scholarship for bass fishing
