  2. You better go!! I’ll be out there. The only guarantee is that if you don’t go, you’ll never know and you won’t catch anything. Even if the bass have lockjaw, you can catch a big un. I caught a big smallie last weekend in 20 something degree weather and they definitely had lockjaw, my buddy in the boat didn’t catch any. Two people two fish in 6 hours
  3. Been working my side job 2-3 hours at night after work, I guess that makes Friday evening miller time
  4. That reminds me! I took a pic for you before Christmas and forgot to post it haha. I was scrambling all thru loose rocks and mud and thought “I bet @gimruiswould get a kick out of this.” They can’t put a very good floating dock in a lot of the places I fish, the water is too swift and goes up and down several feet each day (boat in pic is my non rusted one ?)
  5. Nice! No mercy, coming at the fish from all angles . I like it but the bait monkey still saw the part that said you need a reel
  6. Or the mid south ?
  7. That was all over America back then, but you won’t see it today
  8. From all the water tests I’ve seen, water quality has improved greatly all over the USA in the last 50 years. Waters in the 60s and 70s in many locations was literally too polluted for aquatic life . There’s a river near me that was literally black in the late 80s with no fish or even aquatic insects. It’s now the best Fishing river I know ive got a buddy that works as environmental manager at a cement plant on a river. The EPA is up his rear every single day for decades about water testing and water quality. You can spout gloom and doom if you like but the fed has done wonders for water quality improvements in the US over the last 50 years. It’s a proven fact with real data
  9. Somebody got caught stealing converters at a boat launch in middle TN years ago by fishermen. Let’s just say that all stopped instantly after that encounter
  10. I’ve never caught anything on cut drum but my buddy has
  11. Gambling on sports in now legal in many states including mine. First bet is free up to $1000……… kind of like crack, first hit is free haha
  12. I doubt anyone would show up to set up the stage and weigh fish if they weren’t making money. This is America after all, Lots of floating casinos in this country.
  13. Talkin bout…… wooooo…….
  14. Many refer to them as Alabama smallmouth
  15. Sign me up please sir! Can I do a plus 1? Wife may join on the camping journey, maybe not
  16. Some pros put in more practice and homework than others. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn’t. I would imagine that not a single bass tournament is a completely even playing field if you think you can win, lay down the cash and give it a shot. It seems that simple to me
