  1. That is exactly why I’ve never bought gammy or tungsten (and not many yammys either) catching bass ain’t THAT hard……
  2. Sounds like a good solution then again all the homeless people in my neighborhood have smart phones so they might be free nowadays . Mine costs a fortune
  3. From a few weeks back I forgot to post
  4. Fishing guide is a dream job until you have to work it, I learned that at 23 when I was guiding full time, wasn’t quite how I imagined it. I know a guy that might be willing to take you if all else falls through, my cousins boyfriend. He took me out on toho and we got on them good. He’s not a guide but he has cashed a good many tournament checks, fishes lures or shiners
  5. Luckily I have never seen this stuff, our water usually moves pretty fast
  6. We actually took a bunch of boats and campers to a funeral once. The departed passed right before our annual fishing trip, he didn’t want us to cancel the trip
  7. I’m after a skunk at this house and I catch a different possum almost every night so I tried leaving the traps it without any bait. A big fat raccoon got in my small trap and probably ruined it. “Plum ruirnt “
  8. Hey get back to work it’s not Saturday yet
  9. It just depends on rainfall amounts unless there are dams. In that line graph picture I posted, the two spikes where the water level rose were immediately following thunderstorms. August sept oct are traditionally dry but you never know, we’ve been flooded up into the woods plenty of times during dry season and had low water at times during the wet season. We usually have high flows in winter when it’s always raining and the vegetation isn’t sequestering any of the ground water
  10. Nice fish. It doesn’t look skinny to me!!
  11. Now there’s a real life product review!!
  12. Theoretically they should be on a similar pattern if they are in the same county but they all seem to behave slightly different in the hills n hollers
  13. It takes up a little bit of my time everyday. I’m addicted to that and tva generation schedules
  14. Google usgs water data for your state
  15. That sucks! I’ve never had PayPal because I’ve always heard too many horror stories
  16. And when you crash or stuff breaks it costs way more!!!!!
  17. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen them busting shad on the surface and I threw a tube in there and hooked up immediately. They’ll always eat a tube, in fact I always out fish live crawdads with a tube (drum won’t lay off live craw)
  18. Smallmouth fishing without tubes? I would never……
  19. This could be totally superstition but I swear it works. I accidentally catch a lot of stray cats. I think a long time ago I let a cat out of a trap and didn’t have anymore bait but I reset the trap anyway. The next day a skunk was in the trap. So now when I let a cat out of a trap, I never rebait the trap, just reset it. No clue why but by golly there’s almost always a skunk in it the next day. Case in point, got a cat Wednesday and a skunk today in the same spot same trap, no bait on day Wednesday night after the cat release
  20. Aw heck. It only takes 1.5 beers to get 40 lbs in the tire
  21. I use a bicycle pump, we don’t need no stinkin’ volts!!!
  22. I bet that was exciting on 4 lb line!!!
