  1. Not the large reservoirs I fish in. You can see inactive fish lots of times, and I usually catch fish where I don’t see them on sonar and our reservoir bottoms are rarely clean (most always rocks and logs and irregular depths), then there’s a billion non target fish also
  2. We’ve worn through the bottom of several kayaks back when I was taking guided paddling trips . The only time people ever fell into the water was getting in or out so we put them in the boats on the ramp and shoved off. It always put a hole in the stern at the very back of the boat
  3. Nice looking jigs!!!! I gotta have a black one too
  4. TowboatUS and seatow are the two I’ve heard of over the years
  5. They draw water into ballast tanks in order to make the boat heavier. Heavier boat makes bigger waves for surfing.
  6. That’s why I bought in bulk the other day (1)
  7. Ha! Oh dear. Previous owner couldn’t decide where to put the chair??
  8. Is there foam under the seats? Sometimes that stuff stays intact for what seems like centuries haha
  9. A kayak cover? Sure seems a regular ole tarp would be fine
  10. My bass vehicle needs work but it’ll have to wait til maybe November. Good thing I live close to the water. I think I need ball joints or something in the front end, way beyond my skills. I just change oil and filter and get a shade tree man to do the rest
  11. Hahah! Our customers see a tiny burrow in the yard and think it goes under the foundation. I knew you hated them……
  12. Somewhere in the bowels of the Internet it says that chipmunks can undermine your foundation. And somehow every single human being in the greater East Tennessee area has ended up on whatever website says this garbage The Googlesphere has far more misinformation than good information when it comes to wildlife
  13. It’s too long to type but I was taught by the master of fishing these things. Here’s the cliff notes version Throw it out and leave it for quite a white. Then barely twitch the rod up and leave it a while. Then do that again. Then twitch sideways a few times. If they don’t like that reel it in medium speed and try again . As I was trying this for the very first cast ever I got a 2 lb largemouth while standing on a dock and him coaching. It’s magic
  14. I have to talk people off the ledge concerning chipmunks on a daily basis. My boss always uses the default line “a little ole chipmunk ain’t never hurt nobody”
  15. Albright was the first braid to leader knot I learned, I haven’t found a need for another one when I first bought braid a few years back, I tried my fly leader knots and they all slipped so I had to look up Albright
  16. Mole vs vole……….. mole on top vole on bottom. mole eats worms and grubs , vole eats roots A 1/2 acre yard will have 1-4 moles, unlimited voles moles push the ground up, voles cave it in moles make hills, voles make holes moles won’t kill your flowers, voles will i found both of these laying dead in a yard today and caught another mole in a trap
  17. I heard a professional fisherman talking about using an entire spool of Florocarbon so his line wouldn’t blow around in the wind on the surface like Braid does. That’s some thing I would’ve never thought of
  18. I have been to The ocean many times and looked at tide charts for hours, I’ve yet to understand one . I think I need some in person training
  19. You are the tackle sensei. I just toss my string out there and hope for the best
  20. Has anyone ever told you you take things a little too far? Just kidding buddy, you know more about Line and reels than I could ever imagine.
  21. Yep For the record, the wind can’t tie a knot
  22. And makes it illegal to do it in the bushes…..
