  1. I know of a time when it got colder but you’ll have to check the cave walls instead of pen/paper glad you’re still eating!
  2. Well yeah not that massive of current. That’s when boats go over the dam

Judging by your results I’m guessing you are fishing ponds or small lakes from the bank. in these scenarios a worm always works better without a sinker for me , Which might explain why the wacky works and the Texas rig doesn’t. Like someone else suggested rig your worm like you would a Texas rig but try it without the bullet weight. Growing up fishing ponds my cousin used to out fish me badly with a weightless lizard. I never got any bites with a bullet weight
  4. I’ve always heard massive current helps below Wilson and pickwick
  5. I’ve seen dying threadfin already here in k town. According to tva predictions you might have a lot of water coming your way , might not be til later next week though
  6. Fish don’t live in the air Kent! hope you get a big one
  7. One down 3 to go
  8. KVD sells hooks for a living
  9. I enjoy fishing braid with leader but retying leaders out on the water is not worth The benefits for me personally so I just went back to mono. there’s not a single place anywhere near my house that you won’t be breaking off lots of lures and the leader usually breaks just after the knot, not at the lure
  10. There’s a maple or two there also. Nice fish!
  11. I agree. I use the cheapest line imaginable and sometimes I can’t break 6-8 lb test. Cuts right through my pinky finger nicely tho
  12. “I was in the pool” -costanza
  13. I caught some blizzard perch
  14. I wasn’t too thrilled about it..... haha! But I think the line would have snapped before I became injured or drowned
  15. I used lags because that’s what was on there when i got it. Seems a little quicker but I’m sure also more prone to fall out . I think i used carriage bolts with nuts on my v bottom boat but the bunk lbs are on the sides and the keel goes on rollers so the heads of carriage bolts won’t rub on the bottom of the boat
  16. Looked it up, Robert Earle Keen does 5 lb bass
  17. @slonezp, how bout 5lb bass?? I feel like he sang that song too. I will have to retract my previous statement and say 5 lb bass is my favorite if he indeed sings it. also I’m listening to the stoned traveler album on shuffle for the rest of the work day now haha
  18. I sent him home with the other 11 in the box haha
  19. A buddy of mine was over having a carport beer and asked about my boat. Within 2-3 minutes he found the back of my solenoid was corroded. Could this be why my bonding/ground wires burned up? he also took one look at my crank battery connections and said very plainly “redo all that $(@&............ Copper connections, solder, and shrink wrap”
  20. Ok since @Paul Roberts put himself out there I guess I have to also ^coyote ^beaver i fully expect these photos to be archived and used for blackmail or general ridicule so feel free
