FINS Braid thooughts
Most of the reviews on line seem to be from team members. They do a great job on promotions, but I think a few guys also use it

FINS Braid thooughts
Folks, Just looking for input on Fins braid. The windtamer caught my eye, given the Fronts that will be coming through in a few weeks. The XS has also peaked my interest. Little is written, so I figured I would reach out. Thanks Al

baitcaster for light plastics
To date I have always use a spinning rod for 4 and 5 inch plastics. Come mid Summer, I always have one tied on....... The problem is that I hate spinning rods for techniques other than News and dropshots. Looking for a caster to take its place and the NRX 852c comes to mind with a Met MGL Any thoughts on this. Recommendations are welcome, Thanks

Line choice
I'm a braid, or braid with FC leader guy 10 lb on spinning set-up 20 on most everything else 30 on 1 for light grass. Unless your in heavy salad, I don't understand 50 and 60 lb. To me it is like fishing with rope.

Megabass Lures
I do think the 110 along with a few others are worth it, but that is where it stops for me

Ya never know!
Thought I was “seasoned” to death, being on borrowed time myself, but loosing a father-in-law, and an aunt and uncle in 2 weeks makes you think. Today I think I will break out some Pappy’s and a “special occasion “ cigar and just sit. Looking for the time when I can do this daily and just fish. Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one.....Perhaps another rod is in order ?

BPS Spring Sale
Underwhelming at best the Plano type boxes, 5 for 10.00 may be the best deal in the store

Xtra long leader...
One theory for long leaders was to get the know on the spool and eliminate a weak sport when the fish is within the final 10 feet. While there is merit in the theory, I have never had a break at the Braid/FC knot......and I don’t like the feel.

Help on NRX
A few of us are looking to buy. DAV who is an avid fisherman a couple rods . He is primarily at jig and worm guy and I was thinking NRX 852c. and/ or NRX 853c, when a buddy recommended the MBRGLX 842c/843c. Without regard to price, thinking more value, would we be giving up much going the mbrglx......any first hand experience is appreciated. al

Shallow water anchor for Ranger RT178
I put a 12’ talon on back, but went 36v TM and the extra battery up front will compensate accordingly

Active or inactive
The best old thread I have read this Winter, thanks for bringing it back from the dead. spawn for central NH starts around Memorial Day, and it feels like everything is inactive especially LM. think I will start looking at things differently when ice out hits

Why Are The Old "round" Baitcasters Still Popular?
I hate it when I read a full page before I realize it was started in 2014, but it was a good read.....again

Fluorocarbon line
I see the OP is from MA and me thinks 20lb is over-kill and will be difficult to fish. The BPS classic sail starts tomorrow and would be a good opertunity pickup some lower test line
