Gents, I am looking to get into some larger swim/glide bait fishing but realize it will likely be a small percentage of my time. Looking for thoughts on setups to throw 3-4 ounce baits. Apologies in advance. This was initiated from folks around Squam Lake ( On Golden Pond) and spawned from there. It was phased in over a couple years and the big box stores won't even deliver anything that might violate the law.

Flukes get a ton of love from me throughout spawn and slightly thereafter. i used to throw it weightless, but started using a small barrel swivel a couple feet up the line and use a jerk bait rod. Running it 3 feet down really increases productivity edit....elastic now makes them and they last a lot longer

Anything over 8 and I go dredgers. for shallower, 6th sense and Norman’s Decide what type of wobble you want and hit rocks, I am really not sure how much it really matters beyond that
