  1. -8 in Central NH, with wind chill of -25 expected by noon. A good day to organize the Plano's
  2. And I'm a bit embarrassed to admit I buy pink Flukes when I can find them
  3. We'll chat after the first of the yr........I too like purple!
  4. Physically you can, but since you have to ask the question, it sounds like you lack a little experience. I have been boating close to 50 yrs and agree with @Catt that a boat that size would do better with. V. That said, if you limit yourself to smaller coves you should be OK.
  5. I am considering the same and too run the same MGL'S, but am thinking of putting it on a Jig and worms set up......No reason it wouldn't handle that weight
  6. White and pearl is all you need and they are very cast blend. When wanting to run it a couple feet down, I add a small swivel 18 inches up the line, it also adds to castability
  7. They are there along with some videos albeit few. My brother in law is running them on his center console and he had them on 19 ft lund a few years ago. Nyou may have to search for the powered tabs as there is more written on them
  8. Take a small senko to a hardware store and buy thin plastic tubing and cut into 1/4 inch or smaller segments
  9. This subject was broached on another thread and I was wondering who has put tabs on their boats? Relatives that own center consoles all run them, but don't think I have seen them on a bass or multi-species boat. Merry Christmas, Al
  10. Given how you described your rod and what you want to do with it, I would use braid. My daughter was in a similar situation and going from mono to braid definitely helped her get more fish in the boat. I would use 10-20 lb and tweaking with FC leaders
  11. I know a couple guys that are using the Loomis MBR'S as multi-purpose rods and I may jump on that boat for moving baits. They have a pretty bug range and good sensitivity for a rod with broad reach. Talked to a gents last week that owned 3 of them and feels he is covered for most situations.
  12. I too am a knot guy an a little ocd kicks in from time to time. There comes a point when it is time to simplify . I know only tie the FG and Uni/uni and have never had one of those break thanks for the video, but I don’t see the value..
  13. Mods, apologies if this needs to be moved, I tried to post under eve else, but keep getting an error message. This Spring I want to do video some moments on the lake and wonder what equipment you are using.. I have a go-pro, but never used it. What do you use Do you wear or mount on the boat. Do you edit I would love to video and just download. Thanks, Al
  14. I am actually in the same situation......GLX or nrx in 7 ‘ Med. I am in love with my current glx’s and Need a Med in the quiver
  15. Put toe warmers between the backside of your hand and sergical gloves. The backside is far better than wrist! Nordic shi gloves over the top. Swap out the nordics half way throu the day. Hand warmers on your chest near your sternum goes a long way to increase circulation. On a side note, if your hands and feet sweat, spray antiperspirant the night before and the morning of going on the water
  16. d**n!!!!!!, congratulations
  17. There is no substitute for trim tabs. I had power tabs on a 22ft bay boat with a 200 OB and did exactly what Catt said
  18. I’m a fan of the dredgers! They just work!
  19. I tried one last year and liked it, but not as much as the 852c, which I bought
  20. I have the e6x and am happy with it. I loose very few
  21. IMHO 832 shines for this application
  22. https://www.muckbootcompany.com/muck-mens-mucksterii-ankle-boot.html
  23. If you were looking beyond Loomis, what would top the list?, thanks
  24. I have used my bibs on the snow and they are far better than what is out there for ski/snowboard. For rain boots I use Muck low cuts
