  1. Not unusual for a gfi to do that, heck I have one that trips when I plug in a leaf blower. Plug it in a normal outlet....it is still fuse protected
  2. With water temperature in the low 40’s it is very challenging in in central NH. At this time of the year I usually have a hair jig, Ned, small SB, bladed jig, deep diving CB, and have terrible luck with lipless CB.
  3. There is less chance of you screwing up the IC with FC. Save the palomar for braid.
  4. There are some MH that throw lighter baits.....the Loomis MBR'S come to mind
  5. MH is going to be best all around, but not great with 1/4 ounce. I throw small SB with Spinning or Med BC.
  6. Here ya go https://www.earthturns.com/dr-bronners-pump-soap-lemongrass-lime I would not brush my teeth with it?
  7. Being fit is a huge advantage, but as I have aged flexibility and core strength tops the list. There are a lot of repetitive movement aches these days.....wrist, shoulders, low back, knees.....heck, everything hurts, never mind?
  8. I would not be waiting until Memorial Day for non US tackle
  9. The one knot that can do it all and is hard to screw up is the Uni, whether it it standard, improved or doubled. This will be the first one I teach my grandson. Shaw's will be the second He is only 4 so I have time to change my mind ?
  10. I am back to braid, no leader
  11. James, thanks for taking the time....Look forward to more?
  12. The only time I broke one was when I bounced it off my engine cowling. A few bend standard hooks, but never anything else
  13. If you ever make it to Central NH (Squam Lake) I'm your Huckleberry
  14. yes,,,,when do you an initial search the original shows being discontinued must update to boating..
  15. I have Navionics, but see that is is slated to be discontinued. That said, I am very happy with it! Edit: it appears that it will be upgraded upon renewal for 55.00. For me it is insurance, not a primary navigation tool https://www.sailmagazine.com/diy/navigating-the-app-world
  16. Your not far from the chronarch and worth the extra pennies. You won't be disappointed
  17. A few of my best says fishing I was scunked! It's not always about the fish .......but often is?
  18. Sometimes it not about the fishing ?
  19. My go to are the jungle mock and moab wsterproof
  20. For me, it's all about the support. With proper support there is less fatigue and my knees, hips and back do better. Not many of the so called fishing shoes have suck support.
  21. When mine need replacement I go to these https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Gamakatsu_Aaron_Martens_TGW_Nano_Finesse_Treble_Hook/descpage-NFH.html
  22. Once one Always one Welcome aboard
  23. Are you sure they are on beds? You can usually see them. What is the water temp and where are you located?
  24. My partner and I usually net fish for each other but we had a rough start, since we did not communicate well well in the beginning. I cant tell you how many fish I took off the hook for him. Our communication was terrible and we didn't know each others idiosyncrasies. Long story short, we never loose one now and I net my own when I am with someone new
