Navionics or Lake Master card
I use Navionics and coloring depth contours is awesome. The fact that I can have it on my phone and dash is nice. There is no wrong decision here

Hearing Aids.....ughhhh
Thanks for the replies. I was in the situation that if I didn't, it would be just a short time until I lost it all. I am in my seconds day with Em and and can tell you that these things aren't your grandpa's aids. I forget I am wearing them. My speech is better and the noise in my mind lower, and the need for lip reading gone. The only downside is that I now realize how much my wife really talks. Guess I have to take the good with the bad?.....On a side note, insurance pays a generous amount which almost takes that issue off the table.

Is it dangerous using heavy braid?
I find 50lb braid with a 2 ounce weight (...and accurate cast) can take care of many jet skies ???

Losing fish
Mike sums it up pretty good. You will get a lot of input on trebles, but since I went to the Aaron Martins, it doesn’t happen often. If your in a tournament and don’t retie every 2 fish, it’s on you. Why 25 lb? Just asking. ...... side note, I had a spool of blue label and it was junk, and Was sent a replacement. .....I would also look at quality mono for top water, there are some very good options out there

Flexible soft side cooler for storing fish?
Yes, they are a pain to clean and I don’t use it for fishing. They have come a long way in keeping stuff cold, but I would line it with a garbage bag if using to fish

are super long casts worthwhile?
There is a big difference between throwing a 40 yard cast in 10 feet of water, versus 40 feet of water. Think it depends on the situation. my longer throws are for JB, deep CB, swimmers, top waters.

Hearing Aids.....ughhhh
I have always worn my scars as a badge of a well lived life.....died twice, yet still manage to exchange oxygen for carbon dioxide. When the eyes started failing, glasses and the likelihood of loosing sight in one eye was not a big deal,,,,,,,but being pushed to hearing aids is just one of those things. My question...does anyone who wear them, regret or not wear them! I know I am driving my family crazy!!!! Any insight from anyone who has them would be appreciated. I know I am being petty...

Best monofilament
Armillo is the only mono I use. Lowest stretch I have found, but it is pricey

Lund Renegade 1775 on bigger lakes

MEMORIAL DAY
- Livewell Clean-out
50/50 white vinegar and water. If really bad, a little bleach works wonders. Many will say no to bleach, but remember we use it to treat out drinking wells and a couple drops in a Nalgene bottle purifies drinking water in extreme situations ( 8 drops per gallon)- Post a photo a day!

- Which braid for heavy jig set up?
Of what you mentioned 832 I would add Fins and Gamma to the list....- In Praise Of The 6:3:1 Gear Ratio Bait Cast Reel ??
Heck, most of mine are 8's? My 6's are for deep diving CB and larger swimbaits.- bass guarding fry
Not if your seven years old! Crush the barb and go at it ?- bass guarding fry
Over the next month I will be taking out a lot of first time young anglers and you am heading to the flats at some point in the day. A perfect opportunity to to have success and teach about the circle of life. I guess I am a terrible person- High end rods
No mistake either way. Not sure I would spend the money on moving bait presentations, but for jigs and 10 inch worms, I put them on a conquest- Almost had a very bad day
I keep a foam roller on the boat and roll-out the minute things don't feel right- High end rods
I could be very happy with the GLX at the top of my food chain, but the conquest is special! Sensitive and strength, while super light....and just feels great in hand. I am always looking for an excuse to use one. Have a buddy who has 3 and that's all he uses..leaves 10 others at home- Rigging a 5” Super Fluke
I use a light wire 4/0 offset EWG. I often add a small barrel swivel 12" before the bait to get it to run a couple feet down- High end rods
They are different and I don't think holding either gives you the true feel. It's only when you fish them, can you tell. I have small hands and I like both. I have my conquests paired with Met MGL and Met DC and the totality is awesome. I also didn't experience the discomfort that some do with the GLX. - Livewell Clean-out
